Going forward, each King of the Mat event will feature a single weight class. This allows us to offer a more substantial cash prize and awards to the tournament champion while making each event a unique showcase for that division. King of the Mat 2 will feature the 77kg (169.4) weight class.
Exhibition Matches
After the tournament concludes and the King of the Mat is crowned, we'll open the mats for exhibition matches. These matches are open to anyone who wants additional competition or more mat time, regardless of whether they competed in the tournament. No registration is required, and exhibition matches are not eligible for prizes. Sign ups for the exhibition matches will happen at the time of the event.
