Register to compete at our next open Takedowns Only tournament in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall 4800 US Hwy. 301 North, Tampa FL 33610. There is no other Takedowns competition event like it! Open to everyone: Kids, Teens, Juveniles, Adults and Masters ages 4 years old and up. Doors open at 8:00 am. **July 1, 2025 is the last day to register and receive a free custom JitzKing TShirt
**Weigh ins will take place at the venue on Friday 8/15 from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Saturday 8/16 from 8:00-10:00 am. If you do not make weight, regardless of age, you will be disqualified and no credit will be issued for future events. Each competitor will be given a 1 lb allowance.
**If you’re unable to attend the designated weigh-in times, we recommend weighing in at least one hour before your scheduled match. Please note that our schedule is dynamic and subject to change.
**Registration will be open until 8/13/2025; 11:59 pm eastern standard time (US).
** If no one else registers in the competitor’s bracket we will match them against the competitor that is closest in weight and skill level.
**August 13, 2025 is the last date to update registration.
**A Credit to a future JitzKing open will be issued to those who cancel prior to August 13, 2025; before 12:00 pm eastern standard time (US).
**$30 Early Registration Fee for Takedown Only brackets until July 1, 2025 at 11:59 pm
**$40 Normal Registration Fee for Takedown Only brackets until August 13, 2025 at 11:59 pm
**Brackets will be out on August 15, 2025
**Coaches – Bring Your Team! Register your school at jitzking.com and receive $10 per enrolled student to help with travel expenses.
-Coach’s passes will be provided free of charge depending on the number of competitors from your school.
-1-2 competitors: 1 Coach’s Pass
-3-10 competitors: 2 Coach’s Passes
-11-15 competitors: 3 Coach’s Passes
-16-20 competitors: 4 Coach’s Passes
-21+ competitors: 5 Coach’s Passes
