We’re proud to present the Autumn Jitsuka Open, brought to you by Oddfox Events. This event will be part of the OddFox Ranking System, where earned points help spotlight rising talent and support national athlete selection and development.

This is a Fighting Jujitsu and Newaza (BJJ/Jiu Jitsu) competition for all age groups. While the event is not an official JJIF-ranking tournament, we follow the JJIF ruleset to ensure consistency, safety, and high standards across all matches.

🏷️ Entry Fee Structure

To offer great value while maintaining a high-quality event experience, we've structured pricing as follows:

💥 Early Bird Pricing

• £50 for one category
• +£10 for a second category
• Total: £60 for both Fighting Jujitsu and Newaza

🔒 Standard Pricing

• £50 for one category
• +£25 for a second category (50% off)
• Total: £75 for both categories

⏰ Late Entry

• Full prices apply with no discount on additional categories.
• We strongly encourage early registration to take advantage of savings and secure your spot.

🏆 Divisions and Categories

We offer categories for the following age groups:

• Ages 3–4 (Baby Sumo Only)
• Ages 5–7 (Under 8s)
• Ages 8–9 (Under 10s)
• Ages 10–11 (Under 12s)
• Ages 12–13 (Under 14s)
• Ages 14–15 (Under 16s)
• Ages 16–17 (Under 18s)
• Ages 18–20 (Under 21s)
• 18+ (Adult)
• 35+ (Masters/Veterans)

Athletes may enter Fighting Jujitsu, Newaza, Combat or all.

🥇 All gold medallists in categories (across all age groups) will receive an exclusive Gold Rash-guard to commemorate their achievement. (You can only claim one rash guard even if you win more than one category)

📜 Ruleset (JJIF 2023 Fighting Jujitsu ruleset with the exception of head shots for u16s being allowed - Other new rules will be implemented once scoreboards can reflect the changes)

This event will use the JJIF ruleset for both Fighting Jujitsu and Newaza.

• Please note: This is not a JJIF ranking event or officially endorsed by JJIF.
• The Newaza ruleset is similar to IBJJF but with some additional permitted submissions.

⚖️ Weigh-In Options

Weigh-ins will be available:

• The evening before the event during setup 6 till 8pm (details TBC)
• On the day of the event 8:30am (details TBC), with times and brackets to be confirmed closer to the date with plenty of notice.
• Weigh in - shorts and t shirt or rash guard
• Failure to hit weight will result in DQ (Scales available to test weight before)

⏰ Arrival Time Requirement

Competitors must be present at the venue either 2 hours before their first match or at the opening time of the event, whichever is earlier. This ensures smooth check-in, weigh-in, and warm-up procedures.

📩 Athlete Communications

All event information (e.g. bracket release, weigh-in times, future event news) will be sent using the contact details provided at registration. Please ensure your information is accurate and up to date.

🛍️ Event Stalls and Spectators

We’ll have a range of merchandise stalls and vendors that complement the event, including apparel, gear, and martial arts-related services.
