Jaspr $20k Invitational: Northeast Qualifier

Date: August 2, 2026 Location: Gorilla BJJ Academy – Mahwah, New Jersey

The Jaspr Invitational is coming to Gorilla BJJ (home of the Balance & Flow Invitational) for its first qualifier event.

This qualifier will feature a 4v4 modified Quintet-style elimination format. Teams will compete for a chance to earn their place in the Jaspr Invitational $20,000 Bracket October 10th in Austin, Texas.

Prizes

🥇 1st Place

• $2,000 Cash Prize
• Invitation to the Jaspr Invitational $20,000 Main Event (Oct. 10th)

🥈 2nd Place

• Invitation to the Jaspr Invitational $20,000 Main Event (Oct. 10th)

Team Requirements

Each team must have one athlete in each of the following divisions:

• 66 kg
• 77 kg
• 88 kg
• 99 kg

There will be a 2kg allowance for all weight classes. Virtual weigh-ins will take place the day before the event.

At least 3 of the 4 competitors must represent the same academy/team. One optional wild card slot is available. 

Registration

Early Registration: $20 per person ($80 per team) Ends July 27, 2026

Late Registration: $40 per person ($160 per team) July 28–31, 2026

Registration closes July 31, 2026 at 6pm ET.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTE:

All 4 team members must register separately.

You will have the option to create/select a competition team specific for this event at checkout.

After registering, have one of the members send a direct message to @jasprinvitational on Instagram with: Gym Name and complete team lineup, including all four competitors, their IG handle and their weight classes.
