Tournament – doors open at 9.30 am. The tournament begins at 11.00 am
Medical and weigh in –Will be held at the Skylon Hotel on the 27th February 2026 and from 8.00 – 9.30 on 28th February 2026 by prior arrangement only.
A decision must be made at the end of the second round (Enchosen). Weight difference will not be a factor in the decision.
Open Men’s category
Category 1 - Lightweight Category (- 70 Kg)
Category 2 - Middle-weight Category (+ 70-80 Kg.)
Category 3 - Heavy-weight Category (+ 80 Kg.)
Bout duration
First round is 2 minutes, followed by enchosen of 2 minutes (if needed).
Weight difference will not be a factor in the decision.
Open Women’s category
Category 1 (- 65 Kg.)
Category 2 (+65 Kg.)

Fighter protection:
Men -. Groin guards compulsory. Approved Shin and in step protectors optional Gum shields are optional at the fighters discretion.
Women - Approved Shin and in step protectors and approved breast protectors, (cup type) compulsory.
Insurance – Fighters must obtain their own insurance.
Open Category fee for Fighters: €30.00
Novice and Veterans
All Categories will be run on the Olympic Knockout Draw System unless only three participants in the category where it can be run as a round robin event

Insurance – Fighters must obtain their own insurance.

Apart from any weight or time changes listed above all categories
must follow IFK Rules and must wear the approved safety equipment.
Each Competitor must supply their own equipment that must comply with IFK Regulations.
