EVENT PURPOSE:
- To learn more about competition
EVENT FORMAT
- 8AM Doors open (coffee and breakfast available)
- 830AM Weigh-ins Sunday
- 9AM Event begins

Team Coaches: Free (2 per team) | GA : $30
REGISTRATION COST
$30 per division ( example 1 boxing Fight $30 1 Kickboxing Fight $30 1 MMA Fight $30)

You can decide 1 fight, 2 fights or 3 fights
RULES
COMPULSORY:
- Mouthguard + Headguard + Shin guards (no head gear for MMA)
- Groin cup protector
- Sparring gloves (gloves with protective cushioning for sparring)
FORMAT
- Scoring will be the 10 point system (3 judges)
- Ages 5 to 9 will be 2 x 1.5 minute rounds
- Ages 10+ will be 2 x 2 minute rounds
This is a touch contact level with no knock outs, this is a development event. The aim of this event is to meet like minded athletes and practice in a safe and friendly environment
Classification of a grounded fighter
At all times the referee shall be the final decision maker regarding a fighter being in the grounded position.
The fundamental definition of a grounded fighter is three point contact with the mat. Generally speaking, this means both feet and another body part are on the mat and bearing weight, or both hands on the mat as well as another part of the body.
A fighter shall be deemed to be grounded when:
1. Any part of the body other than the soles of the feet is touching the mat
2. Kneeling on one or both knees
3. On "all fours", with hands and knees on the mat
4. On his/her back or belly, regardless of whether the feet are touching the mat
Legal Techniques
- Standing striking (details provided on the day)
- All Submissions (no neck cranks or rotational attacks eg. heel hooks and toe holds)
HOW TO WIN
FIGHTS WON BY
1. Submission (tapping out physically/verbally)
2. Judges decision
The judges will use a 10 point system

The matches are "interclub and friendly"

Same rules however no grappling allowed

Same rules however no kicking or grappling allowed
