Registration Fee

$100 registration fee

Registration fees are required to secure an athlete’s spot in the qualifier.

Spectator Admission & Coach Passes

Spectator admission is $20 per person.

Children under 5 years old are free.

Each registered athlete will receive 1 coach pass included with their athlete registration. This coach pass allows one coach to enter with the registered athlete.

Additional coaches, teammates, or team members will need to purchase a spectator pass for $20 per person.

Spectator fees are separate from athlete registration fees. Additional spectator details, including payment instructions and entry information, may be provided closer to the event.

Eligible Weight Classes

This qualifier is open to the following weight classes:

145 lbs

155 lbs

170 lbs

185 lbs

205 lbs

Athletes must register for the correct weight class. 

Athlete Eligibility

All athletes must be physically prepared to compete in a high-level professional grappling environment.

The Houston Wranglers reserve the right to approve, deny, or remove any registration if an athlete is not considered eligible, prepared, or appropriate for the qualifier.

Weigh-In Information

Athletes are expected to make the weight class they register for.

Failure to make weight may result in removal from the qualifier or placement in another division only if approved by event officials.

Specific weight allowance will be determined by Wrangler officials.

Match Rules

Matches will follow the PGF official ruleset provided to athletes before competition.

Athletes are responsible for reviewing and understanding the rules before competing.

Event officials, referees, and organizers will have final authority on all match decisions, scoring, penalties, disqualifications, and disputes.

Required Athlete Conduct

All athletes are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times.

Athletes must show respect to opponents, coaches, referees, staff, and event officials.

Unsportsmanlike conduct, threats, fighting outside of competition, harassment, or failure to follow staff instructions may result in immediate disqualification without refund.

Medical & Safety

Athletes compete at their own risk.

By registering, athletes confirm they are physically able to participate in intense athletic competition.

Event staff reserve the right to stop a match or remove an athlete from competition for safety reasons.

Registration Policy

Registration is not considered complete until the registration form and payment have been submitted.

The Houston Wranglers reserve the right to close registration early if divisions reach capacity.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for no-shows, missed weigh-ins, failure to make weight, disqualification, or inability to attend after registration.

Team Selection

Winning or competing in the qualifier does not automatically guarantee a permanent team spot.

Final team selection decisions are made by the Houston Wranglers and PGF team leadership.

Media Release

By registering, athletes understand that photos, videos, interviews, and match footage may be captured during the event.

The Houston Wranglers, PGF, and event partners may use this media for promotional, broadcast, social media, and marketing purposes.

Final Notes

Athletes should arrive prepared, on time, and ready to compete.

Additional details, including schedule, check-in time, weigh-in information, ruleset, and location, will be sent to registered athletes before the event.
