??Hong Kong Jiu-Jitsu Festival: Competition & Experience Day??
Organized by the Hong Kong Jiu-Jitsu Association (HKJJA), the "HKJJA Hong Kong Summer Open & HK Representative Trial" on 5 July 2025 at Hong Kong Football Club will feature competitions for kids, teens, and adults, alongside fun, hands-on experience zones. The special “Open Belt” division serves as a trial to select top athletes for the Hong Kong team to represent internationally. Young athletes under 11 may join the training squad to prepare for future international opportunities. Whether you're a competitor, beginner, or fan—this is a festival you can’t miss!

Event Highlights:
? Jiu-Jitsu Competition
- Categories will include Kids, Teens, and Adults.
- In addition to the regular “Belt” categories, there will also be a special “Open Belt” category, in line with the Olympic spirit, to select the best athlete in each weight class.
- Outstanding Hong Kong athletes in the “Open Belt” category will have the opportunity to represent Hong Kong* in international competitions and join the training squad^.
- Every child and teen competitor will receive a “Certificate of Attendance” to record their ranking in the competition.
*Hong Kong athletes: To represent Hong Kong, you must hold a valid Hong Kong passport.
^Training Squad: Children under 11 who are too young to participate in competitions organized by JJIF (Ju-Jitsu International Federation) and JJAU (Ju-Jitsu Asian Union) will undergo training in a squad format, being considered as potential candidates for future Hong Kong representation, with the chance of receiving sponsorship for overseas exchanges.
Color Belt Competitions
All uniforms and competition rules will follow the IBJJF rulebook v6.2 (with exception that advantage points will not be awarded during the competition).

Open Belt Competitions (Trial) - Only for valid Hong Kong passport holders.
All uniforms and competition rules will follow the JJIF Newaza rulebook v2.7 .
