Description
Welcome to the Highlander All Sparring tournament. This tournament uses a round robin format, vs a bracket style. This way, we can offer more matches for the competitors. The ideal format is 10 competitor divisions, split into two 5 competitor pools. Each competitor will spar everyone in their pool, regardless of match outcome. In both point sparring and weapon sparring. Once a pool winner is declared, the two pool winners will compete in a single match, winner take all, to become the Highlander in their division
- SMAA sparring rules will be used, HOWEVER BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE AWARD TO THE HIGHLANDER, NO SMAA PROVINCIAL POINTS WILL BE AWARDED. There can be only one
- Check in at 8:00 AM
- Tournament Start 9:00 AM
Important Information for Athletes
SMAA sparring rules will be used, HOWEVER BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE AWARD TO THE HIGHLANDER, NO SMAA PROVINCIAL POINTS WILL BE AWARDED. There can be only one.
