SCHEDULE

• Venue opens at 7:30 AM
• Registration and weigh-in: 7:30–15:00 AM
• can be done anytime during the day but no later than 1 hour before the planned start of the category!
• First matches start at 8:30 AM
• Expected finish 7:00 PM 
 

TOURNAMENT SYSTEM ROUND ROBIN

A minimum of 5 participants per category is required to guarantee 4 matches. The guarantee does not apply in cases of injury, withdrawal from the group, or failure to meet the weight requirement.

If a category has 2 or fewer athletes with completed registration, categories will be merged after consultation with the competitors to ensure the highest possible number of matches. We do not believe in medals for participation. In the rare case that an athlete has no opponents available even after merging, their entry fee will be fully refunded.

RULES

No Gi matches follow ADCC rules. Athletes are not allowed to wear wrestling shoes. Rashguard is not required.
Gi matches follow IBJJF rules. Athletes are prohibited to wear a rashguard (expect women), and the Gi must meet IBJJF standards.

THE LENGTH OF MATCH

Gi matches last 5 minutes, and points are awarded from the very beginning.
No-Gi matches last 5 minutes, and points are awarded starting from the middle of the match.

WEIGHT CATEGORIES (combined No Gi & Gi)

Weigh-in for Gi categories will be done without the Gi!
Weigh-in will take place on the day of the tournament. If a competitor fails to make weight on the first attempt, they will be DISQUALIFIED with NO REFUND of the entry fee. A 0.5 kg weight tolerance is allowed.

What are the venue opening, match start, and expected finish times?
The venue opens at 7:30 AM. First matches start at 8:30 AM, and the expected finish is 7:00 PM.
When is weigh-in and what are the weigh-in rules?
