THE EVENT
Welcome to the Northern Gladiators Grand Prix, the largest combat sports gathering in Abitibi-Témiscamingue! From May 15 to 17, 2026, the Agnico Eagle Centre in Val-d'Or will become the arena where warriors from Quebec and Ontario will compete for glory, victory, and provincial titles. Officially sanctioned by ISKA Quebec, this event is much more than just a tournament: it's a platform of excellence where discipline, courage, and respect reign supreme. Whether you're a beginner or an elite athlete, come and make your mark on Northern history.
EVENT SCHEDULE
The event will take place over three days:
- Friday, May 15:
Official opening of the Provincial Championship;
- Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17:
Competition days
Activities will begin each day at 9:00 a.m. (Paris time).
Punctuality from all participants is essential to ensure the smooth running of the competitions.
MANDATORY WEIGHING
Failure to appear at the weigh-in will result in automatic disqualification from the relevant category, without the possibility of a refund.

DISCIPLINES AND CATEGORIES
Ring Sports:
- K-1
- Kickboxing
Combat Classes:
- Class A: 10+ fights (Advanced/Elite)
- Class B: 5-9 fights (Intermediate)
- Class C: 4+ fights (Beginner)
Age Groups:
- Children (7+ years)
- Cadets
- Juniors
- Adults
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
For your registration to be valid and compliant with the regulations, you must:
1. Be a member in good standing of ISKA Québec
2. Verify that your school is officially registered on the website: [www.iska-canada.com](http://www.iska-canada.com)
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Each competitor must present themselves with:
- Mouthguard (MANDATORY);
- Groin guard (MANDATORY);
- Shin guards with full socks (MANDATORY);
- Gloves (10oz / 12oz depending on category);
- Headgear (for classes C and B);
- Regulation competition shirt
Important: Uniforms and competition equipment must be approved by the referee before the first match.
They may be checked upon notification but must be validated by the tatami referee before the first match.
Any competitor not meeting these requirements will not be allowed to participate in the competition.
