2026 GOLDEN STATE OPEN Judo Tournament Coaches' Registration
Use this page to register and obtain a Coach Wristband for the 2025 Golden State Open Tournament.
*** ALL COACHES MUST BE USA JUDO CERTIFIED ***
Coaches Wristband:
There will be an Officials Meeting TBD on Saturday May 23. Please make every effort to attend. Coaches are encouraged to attend officials meeting.
We will not allow more than 8 coaches per dojo given that there are only eight mats. Exceptions may be made, dependent on an increased amount of competitors from a single dojo. Coaches bands will be distributed according to ratio of competitors registered from your dojo. For example, a dojo with 1 competitor will not receive more than 1 coaches band.
Only coaches certified by USA JUDO are allowed on the mat side for coaching. Please bring current valid credential with photo ID and upload up-to-date Safesport.
Only coaches with coach’s wrist band will be allowed at mat side and in coaching seats; bands must be visible at all times.
Please review tournament rules outlined in registration.
All coaches must remain seated in designated coaches chair while coaching a match.
Coaches must wear long pants and sleeved top. No judogi tops, judogi pants, shorts, or tank tops are allowed in the coaches chair. Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times. No Sandals allowed. No Hats allowed.
No filming or taking pictures from the coaches chair.
Coaching from coaches chair is allowed during medical Matte.
If coaches are warned once and do not comply with conduct standards, they are subject to removal from the venue.
Please be prepared to present your valid Judo Organization Membership card when picking up your wristband.
A coaching clinic will be available Time and Date TBD. This is for any new coaches looking to get certified.
