First Annual Edcouch Boo-Jitsu Festival and Tournament
Get ready, RGV — the first ever Edcouch Boo-Jitsu Festival and Tournament is here! On Saturday, October 25th from 9 AM to 9 PM, Edcouch will come alive with Jiu-Jitsu, community, and Halloween fun.
This event features both kids and adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, including absolute divisions and large No-Gi brackets for adults with cash and other prizes on the line. Competitors of all levels are invited to step on the mats and test themselves in a friendly, exciting environment.
But Boo-Jitsu is more than a tournament — it’s a full Halloween-themed community festival:
🎃 Face painting & Halloween flash tattoos by local artists 👻 Temporary hair color & costume-category BJJ (yes, dress up and roll!) 🥋 Kids & Adults BJJ divisions with medals, prizes, and fun 🎟️ Raffles, vendors & giveaways throughout the day 🔥 Snack bar & BBQ to keep everyone fueled 🎶 Live music for a festival atmosphere 🍻 Free beer for adults after the kids’ tournament concludes
