BJJ League 13th Edition
Published in February 2025 – Registrations Open from May 2025
Welcome to the 13th Edition of the BJJ League on October 4, 2025! This one-day tournament is open to kids, teens and juveniles, and will be held in Bærum, Norway.
We follow IBJJF rules, if there are any deviations, they are ALWAYS communicated and agreed upon upfront.

- Event Date: Saturday, 4th Oct 2025
?? Schedule:
- Doors Open: 10:00
- Weigh-ins: 10:00 ONLY for athletes on the monitor or kids, teens and juveniles without confirmed weights
- Tournament: 11:00
Note: Matches may proceed faster than scheduled.
Times are dynamic, follow up and be ready.
?? Rules:
- Preparation: No briefing at the tournament; read IBJJF rules in advance.

- We have a pool of referees, inc. black and colored belts, trained in the rules for kids and juveniles.

????? Coaches:
- For coach passes, send an e-mail with the names of 3 coaches and the club name, use the subject: "COACH PASS".
- All information must be submitted no later than 28th April
- Coach passes WILL NOT be released on competition day.
? Match Times:
- Kids (under 6 years): 2 minutes
- Kids (7-9 years): 3 minutes
- Kids (10-15 years): 4 minutes
- Juveniles (16-17 years): 5 minutes
?? Weigh-Ins:
- First chance: If your weight is confirmed by an instructor in advance, you do not need to weigh in at the venue on competition day.
- Second chance: If your name is displayed on the screen (bull pen), you can weigh in at the venue. Note that no changes will be allowed on competition day.

?? Juveniles Considerations:
- Athletes turning 16 years old (Juvenile 1) in the current year must follow the belt system in Article 1.2 of the IBJJF Graduation System. Juveniles who have been promoted to a colored belt while being kids/teens shall register and compete as Blue belts.
- Juveniles 1 and Juveniles 2 may be combined if not enough registered athletes.
?? Competition Fees:
- Kids: 350 kr flat free
- Juveniles: 350 kr flat fee
??? Entrance Fee:
- General Public: 100kr (16 years and above) - Kids have free entrance
- Coaches: 3 free coaches per team
- Payment: At the entrance (ViPPs #769020) or on Smoothcomp
?? Refunds:
- 100% Refund: If canceled by 8th Oct 23:59
- 50% Refund: if canceled by 9th Oct 23.59
- After 9th Oct, send an e-mail with the subject: "REFUND".
- Check brackets when published and cancel if necessary. Normal refund dates apply.
?? Medals - Prizes:
- Kids (-10 yrs): Participation medals for all.
- Kids (+10 yrs): Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
- Juveniles: Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Best Academy of the season: Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and "Best Performance"
?? Kiosk:
BJJ League will have food and drinks for sale at the kiosk during the 13th Edition.
