Description
MMA Match Details:
The United States of America Mixed Martial Arts Association-sanctioned MMA matches include both striking and grappling. USAMMA is the new name for the organization formally known as the USFL. Please go to fightleague.org to obtain a license and physical form. Be prepared to provide your USAMMA (formerly, USFL) license at the event. Please note:
- No head strikes / limited contact
- 3 x 2-minute rounds in the cage / 1 minute between rounds
- This is a development league, per the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation there are no winners or losers
- Matches are monitored by USAMMA-licensed referees and officials
- Matches are determined by a USAMMA-licensed matchmaker
- Athletes and Coaches must have an active USAMMA license
- Age range: 7 – 17 years old
- Each Athlete will receive 1 MMA match
Registration Information:
- Early Registration: Before June 30th $120
- Regular Registration: July 1st- August 2nd $140
- Late Registration: August 3rd- August 23rd (last day to register) $160
Weigh-Ins:
- Date: Saturday, August 30th 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Location: Southern Junction Texas 101 N. Rogers Rd. Irving, TX 75061
- What to Bring: Gear (fingerless MMA gloves, shin guards, groin protection, and mouthpiece), USAMMA license, Signed Event Waiver
- Only one parent/guardian per athlete will be allowed for Weigh-In area
- Times for Face Offs will be scheduled the week before
Spectators
Donation suggestions for spectators. A portion of proceeds go to Scottish Rite Hospitals.
- Platinum Level $500: Provides 1 VIP table for 6. Tables are on level with the cage and next to walk-out path
- Gold Level $450: Provides 1 front row tables around the ring
- Silver Level Adult $50: Provides General Admission, kids under 5 free
