Welcome to our first ever BGS Open Tournament for White and Blue Belts!
**Get a 30$ discount when registering for both a regular division and absolute!**
** Exceptions can be made for older Youth competitors that are interested in competing, Give us a message to confirm**
We will be using the BGS Ruleset:
10 minute matches: first 5 mins no points, second 5 mins IBJJF points without advantages.
All submissions legal, no slams or flying scissor takedowns.
Winners of the Absolute divisions will secure a feature match at one of our future professional events!
The tournament will take place in Springhill, NS at the Arena in the CIBC room (first hallway on the left when entering the arena).
Paizanos Canteen will be open, please bring cash, as there is not an ATM on site.
Weigh ins will run from 8AM-9AM, Rules meeting at 9:15AM, and first matches starting at 9:30AM.
We will have 2 mats running at the same time, please keep an eye on the schedule here on Smoothcomp for any match changes. You can access the live schedule by clicking the matches tab, and selecting the mat you want to view.
