We are hosting a Judo tournament on Saturday 2nd May 9:30am with first fights at 9:45am.
This is a great comp for people who are interested in giving competition Judo a go in a safe, fun, friendly environment. You MUST be a member of Judo ACT or relevant Judo Australia state to compete.
Cost is 40 per division

The minimum grade for -9's is white yellow black tip, for Junior and Senior Boys & Girls is 5th Kyu (yellow) and 4rd Kyu (orange) for Cadets and above.
Weigh in times:
Friday 1st May 4:00pm- 6pm at BGC or Saturday 2nd May at 8:30am-9:30am
NOTE: If you weigh in on Saturday and miss weight, you will be removed from the draw and forfeit your entry fee.
For Boys, Girls and Cadets categories, athletes are not allowed to remove their clothing, to compensate an additional clothing allowance of 100 grams will be allowed. Weight changes will be allowed during the official weigh-in period.

Eligibility and Conditions of Entry:
1. Competitors must be a minimum 5th Kyu (yellow belt) in senior boys and girls and 4th Kyu for Cadets and above.
2. Competitors must be current financial members of the JFA(ACT) Inc. or a JFA Inc. member state. 
This is the responsibility of the coaches /managers of each team. 
Proof of membership will be requested at the weigh-in. 

3. The organising committee reserves the right to abandon or amalgamate any weight divisions where sufficient 
members are not present – coaches or parent will be consulted. 

4. The competition will be played under the IJF rules: 
Juniors and Senior Boys/Girls will be 3 minute contests with golden score. 
Cadet and Senior Divisions will be 4 minute contests with golden score. 

Competitors Agreement: By entering the Competition and by payment of the entry fee the player (or parent/guardian of the player) agrees to assume all risks, both known and unknown, and all consequences thereof, arising out of or in connection with competing or participating in this event.
The player (or parent/guardian) agrees to adhere to all rules, regulations and conditions of this event.
