The AVA BRITISH COLUMBIA SUBMISSION GRAPPLING TOURNAMENT is a Regional (Provincial) Tournament and will be ranked in the Season 2026 with 2 x Placement Points
SUMMARY
AVA is a submission-only, round robin tournament with a AVA overtime.
Each Adult competitor is now invited to enter a maximum of six divisions, while each Youth competitor is invited to enter up to four divisions.
Tournament Date:
- Early Weigh-in: Friday, March 13
- Youth, Adults and Masters: Saturday, March 14
- Spectator Entry: $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. This includes family and friends. Competitors aged 17 and under may bring ONE parent or guardian at no additional cost.
- Location: Port Moody Secondary School (300 Albert St, Port Moody, BC V3J 4W7)
*Competitors: Please be at your mat number 10min before your scheduled first match.
REGISTRATION PRICES:
· $95 Early Bird (Deadline December 14, 2025)
· $110 Normal (Deadline February 15, 2026)
· $130 Late (Deadline March 8, 2026)
· $50 for additional Divisions
COACHES
One coach is allowed for every three competitors from their team. Additional coaches will need to pay the spectator fee of $15.
We kindly request all coaches to register for our event by filling out the registration form provided at the following link: COACH LIST. Please note deadline to sign up will be on Wednesday the week of the tournament (May 7). You may sign in at the door if you did not make the deadline.
