ELITE OPEN TO U15 - U18 - U21 - SENIOR

Welcome to the City of Arvika in beautiful Värmland, for the Winter Training Camp 2026, a development camp focusing on competive judo for judokas aiming at competing on national and international level. Arvika Winter Camp will this year offer six sessions over three days of high quality competition training.

Note: Make sure to send us a message if you won't be able to participate on all sessions as we try to optimize each session with a fixed number of judokas on the mat.

Location: Mötterudsvägen 4, Arvika 

Fee ELITE: 400 SEK including lunch on Saturday (Note: U18 rules apply, min. green belt))

Fee 4YOUTH: 300 SEK including lunch on Saturday

Availability: To ensure optimal follow-up from the instructors, limited availability applies. Max 35 athletes per category.

ARVIKA WINTER CAMP 4YOUTH:

The camp is aimed at younger judokas who wants to develop their competitition skills in the U11  & U13 age groups with minimum yellow belts. There will be 1 session on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. The coaches will be drawn from the coaching team below and published closer to the event date.

Note: U11 & U13 may not register for ELITE. Experienced U13 with matching/heavier weights may apply to join some of the ELITE sessions. We will assess individually for optimal matching. Please email info@judoarvika.se

ACCOMODATION:

Accomodation: 150 SEK per person and night. We offer accomodation in dojo and school/office space for visiting clubs. Breakfast is not included but there is kitchen available at all accomodation options. We will arrange transport to/from camp from accomodation for those travelling by train.

FOR WHO?

The Winter Camp Coaching Team is committed to improving each judokas technical competition skills and to providing quality randori opportunities. Each mat session will include high intensity randori and test contests designed to bring out the best in everyone. Then the coaching team’s focus switches from sparring to technical development, as they deliver practical, effective technical sessions.

The ELITE Camp is aimed at judokas wo wants to develop their competitition skills on national and international level. From U15 and up and with at least a green belt and will offer a total of six sessions spread over three days, one on Friday evening, three on Saturday and two on Sunday.

The 4YOUTH Camp is geared towards mastering and developing interest in competing in a balanced manner. Kids who want to compete in judo should master strong basics, a small set of reliable techniques, and good grip fighting. Focus on safe progression, confidence, and smart match strategy. Keep training simple, disciplined, and fun to build long-term success.
