Open to all kickboxers, ages 14+

Only Amateur athletes may participate in SMAA Amateur events. If a non-amateur athlete is found to participate in such events, the following consequences may be considered:

Disqualification of the athlete;

A temporary or permanent participation ban for the athlete, the athlete’s coach, and the athlete’s club as determined at the discretion of the SMAA Board of Directors;

Revocation of any titles won at the event, or any other SMAA title held;

Fine of $500 each for the Athlete and the coach;

Coaches & warm-up area

Maximum of 2 coaches per team allowed in the competition area

Abide by ring and zoned area rules

Spectators are not allowed in the competition area

No food allowed in competition area; water or liquids only

Champion belt — Top adult male competitor

Champion belt — Top adult female competitor

Champion belt — Top junior competitor

Gold medal — 1st place (all divisions)

Silver medal — 2nd place (all divisions)

Bronze medal — 3rd place (all divisions)

Awarded to the competitor voted by the referee panel to best exemplify the true warrior spirit — demonstrating camaraderie, integrity, and fighting spirit throughout the competition. The recipient will receive a brand new set of Hayabusa 16 oz boxing gloves. The competitor must be present at the awards ceremony to receive this honour; if absent, an alternate recipient will be selected.

Liability waiver & assumption of risk

By registering for this event, the athlete and/or their guardian(s) acknowledges that this tournament is a semi-contact combat sport that carries inherent risks, including but not limited to minor or severe physical injury, permanent injury, or death. The athlete voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation — before, during, and after competition — and agrees to compete at their own risk. By completing registration, the athlete confirms they are medically fit to compete and accepts full responsibility for their participation.
