This is a BJJ- Gi tournament open to competitors ages 5 and up! This event brings together athletes of all experience levels for a full day of exciting competition, sportsmanship, and community.

We’re proud to feature cash prizes for these Absolute Divisions:

• Men’s Absolute Champion: $500

• Women’s Absolute Champion: $500

• Kids Absolute (Ages 8–12): $250

• Teens Absolute (Ages 13–17): $250

ILLEGAL TECHNIQUES — ALL DIVISIONS

• Slamming out of submissions• Striking of any kind• Small joint manipulation (fingers/toes)• Eye gouging, fish hooking, hair pulling• Biting or scratching• Spiking opponent on head/neck• Heel hooks (gi tournament rule)• Twisting leg locks for kids

• Spine manipulations (i.e. twister)

• Scissor take down

• Can Opener• Unsportsmanlike conduct

White Belt Adults

Allowed:• Straight ankle locks• Knee bars 

Not allowed:• Heel hooks• Toe holds• Reaping• Calf slicers

Colored Belts Adults

Allowed:• Straight ankle locks• Knee bars• Toe holds• Calf slicers

Not allowed:• Heel hooks • Reaping

KIDS SUBMISSION RULES

Ages 5–6

Allowed:• Rear naked choke (no neck cranks)• Armbar from guard/mount• Americana / Kimura

Not allowed:• Triangles• All leg locks• Guillotine

• Ezekiel / loop chokes

Ages 7–12

Allowed:• Rear naked choke• Guillotine (no crank)• Triangle choke• Armbar / Kimura / Americana • Ezekiel / loop chokes

Not allowed:• All leg locks• Wrist locks• Bicep slicers

Youth 13-15

Allowed:• All basic chokes• Arm locks & shoulder locks• Straight ankle locks (optional)

Not allowed:• Heel hooks• Toe holds• Knee bars• Calf slicers• Twisters / neck cranks
