Prizes

Every weight classes’ three best fighters get Official ADCC Medals

There are Absolute Divisions for Medalist's in Adult and Masters Professional Divisions. These can be entered for free on the day of the competition.

Professional Absolute Winners get Championship Belts and Cash prizes*

**Minimum of 6 entries in Absolute divisions to win cash prize**

There are Trophy awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Best Teams and Best Academies

Adult Divisions

Skill levels are primarily by belt. If you do not have a jiujitsu belt then you will register based on your years training.

Once you compete at a Skill level you can not move back down, regardless of the guidelines. e.g. if you do Professional level in any competition then Professional is your level moving forward.

Ages 15+ may register for adult weight divisions with a parent / guardians permission. Adult absolutes are restricted to age 18+

* Adult Beginners: White Belts

Or Less Than 2 Years (<24 Months) Training if Unranked.

If you are training less than this time but have major / top level medals in any martial art such as BJJ, Judo, Grappling, MMA, Wrestling, Sambo etc then you must do Intermediate level. If you have competed in any professional MMA fights you must do Professional Level.

* Adult Intermediates: Blue and Purple Belts

Or 2 years - 3 years 11 Months (24 - 47 Months) training If Unranked.

If you are training less than this time but have major / top level medals in any martial art such as BJJ, Judo, Grappling, MMA, Wrestling, Sambo etc then you must do Advanced or Professional level. If you have competed in any professional MMA fights you must do Professional Level.

Whats the difference between Advanced and Professional?

  • Advanced → For athletes with high-level experience who train and compete regularly, but still consider themselves hobbyists. They may be very skilled, but competing isn’t their main career focus. Adult Advanced division use the Intermediate Rule-Set.
  • Professional → For athletes who are dedicated to competing at the highest level and who actively pursue martial arts as a career, often aiming to make a living through the sport. Medalists in Professional divisions can enter the Pro Absolutes on the day and gain the chance to take home the cash prize and championship belts.

We offer 100% coupon refunds. This means If a competitor needs to withdraw, we do not issue a cash refund — instead, they will receive a 100% credit coupon for the full amount paid.  The coupon can be used toward any future ADCC Ireland event.
