$125 until Wednesday, November 12th, 2025
Competitors must be at their assigned mat at least 15 minutes before their scheduled start time. The schedule and mat assignments will be released after weigh ins. Match times are in real time and should be checked frequently on the day of the event for any updates.
If a competitor does not arrive to the mat within 10 minutes of the first time they are called, they will be marked as a loss and the bracket will advance. This applies for all competitors, but please especially keep this in mind when registering for more than one division.
CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT:
North American Trials, including East Coast Trials, are ONLY open to those who can show proof of citizenship in a qualifying country: List of Qualifying Countries

IMPORTANT DATES:
Last day to cancel for a credit (no refunds): Sunday, November 9th at 11:59pm local time.
Registration closes: Wednesday, November 12th at 11:59pm local time, or when we reach maximum capacity of 256 competitors per division, whichever happens first.
Registration correction deadline: Wednesday, November 12th at 11:59pm local time.
Capacity
Each division has a maximum capacity of 256 competitors.
Multiple divisions have reached capacity before the registration deadline, so make sure to sign up as soon as possible to ensure your spot!
MANDATORY WEIGH INS:
Friday, November 14th from 7-9pm at the venue.
This will be the ONLY weigh ins option, no exceptions.
If you do not weigh in promptly by 9pm on Friday, November 14th - you will be removed from the competition with no refund or credit.
There is a .5kg allowance. If you miss weight beyond this, you will be disqualified and removed from the competition, no refunds or credits, no exceptions.
ALL competitors must weigh in, even if your division does not have a weight limit.
You will receive a wristband for Trials when you weigh in. This wristband is good for both days. Do not lose this otherwise you will need to purchase a spectator ticket to get back into the event.
CORRECTIONS and CANCELLATIONS:
Registration corrections can be done by logging into your smoothcomp account. Or, you can email caitlin@adcc-official.com with your full name and the correction.
REFUND POLICY:
Registration fees are non-refundable. Registered competitors that are unable to compete for any reason may request credit toward a future tournament until the Sunday before the event. Credits after this date will only be offered if we are not able to find you a suitable match.

Winners from all 5 Men's divisions will earn their spot to compete in the ADCC World Championships in August 2026.

Requests should be submitted at least 3 weeks before the event date. Any requests submitted after that may not be considered.
FORMAT:

- Single elimination, with the exception that those who lose in the semi finals will compete for third place.
MATCH LENGTHS:
6 minutes (first 3 minutes do not have points).
All finals matches will be 8 minutes (first 4 minutes do not have points).
COACHES:
1 free coach pass per every 5 students registered from that same academy, minimum of 5 students. Example:
0-4 competitors: No coach pass
5-9 competitors: 1 coach pass
10-14 competitors: 2 coach passes
And so forth.
SPECTATORS:
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20/day, or $50 for all three days (Open and Trials). Anyone age 6 and older must have a spectator ticket.
The Orlando Open and East Coast Trials are separate events. Open competitors will need to purchase a spectator ticket for Trials if they want to attend Trials. Trials competitors will need to purchase a spectator ticket for the Open if they want to attend the Open.
For Trials competitors who do not make it into the Sunday rounds, as long as you still have your wristband on, you will not need to purchase a spectator ticket to watch on Sunday. If you lose your wristband then you will need to pay for spectator entrance.
NOT ALLOWED AT ANY ADCC EVENTS:
Close outs: Teammates, friends, etc not having a real match if they meet in a bracket.
Sandbagging: Signing up for a lower skill level or younger age group (masters signing up for adult is permitted). Please notify us if you see a competitor you suspect is sandbagging.
Doing either of these may result in a permanent ban from all ADCC events, even on the first offense.
