ELIGIBILITY:
All individuals with current USJA, USJF, or USJI memberships
ENTRY FEE: $50.00 for all contestants.
REGISTRATION: Registration will close on Wednesday, August 6 at 11:59pm pst. But, this event will have a 350 Competitor Limit, and will close once this has reached.

Sensei/Coach/Parent honor system with Random Spot Checks during the event.

REFEREE MEETING: 9:00 AM in the Green Room (Coffee & Pastries will be served)
FORMAT: 4 competitors or more: Modified Double Elimination; 2-3 competitors: Round Robin
MATCH TIME: 3 MINUTES + 1 MINUTE GOLDEN SCORE FOR JUNIORS, INTERMEDIATES AND MASTERS
4 MINUTES + 1 MINUTE GOLDEN SCORE FOR SENIORS
CONTEST RULES: Current IJF Contest Rules Modified as follows:
1. Pre 2003 IJF Medical rule except black belt divisions.
2. No Shime Waza (choking techniques) for 12 years old and under.
3. If a 12 year old or younger contestant is enters a 13 year old or older division, choking techniques will be allowed.
4. Kansetsu Waza (Joint lock techniques) will be allowed in the Black/Brown Belt division only.
5. Waki Gatame and Juji Gatame flying armlock will not be allowed from a standing position.
6. If there is a tie at the end of the Golden Score period, the Mat Supervisor and Center Referee will determine the winner.
7. The CARE System will not be used.
8. Contest areas will be 6m x 6m plus a 3m safety area with 4m between adjoined contest area.
AWARDS: Each pool will be awarded first, second and third places.
OFFICIAL T-SHIRTS: Team Coach will picku all T-shirts at once when Tournament Committee is ready.
The tournament committee reserves the right to make any necessary changes in the best interest of the sport and the
competitors.
