Judo Gi's

All athletes are required to have a blue and a white gi. They do not have to be IJF Approved but the fit must meet IJF standards.

ELIGIBILITY:

▪ A member in good standing with USA Judo, ATJA or USJF for USA competitors. To receive points on the Veterans roster you must be a member of USA Judo.

▪ A member of their national federation for international players.

▪ A copy of your current membership card will be required at registration.

▪ At least 30 years of age. Year of birth must be 1997 or earlier.

WE WILL USE “MADISON BRACKETING” FOR NOVICE DIVISIONS WHEREBY THE WEIGHT CUTOFFS WILL BE SET AFTER ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON 01/28/2027. THIS SYSTEM ALLOWS NEARLY EVERYONE TO COMPETE WITH A MINIMAL NUMBER OF UNCONTESTED ENTRANTS. DIVISION LISTS WILL BE POSTED ONLINE FOR YOUR REVIEW. THE LISTS WILL INCLUDE GENDER, AGES AND  WEIGHTS OF THE PARTICIPANTS. COACHES AND ATHLETES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THAT THEY ARE PLACED ON THE CORRECT LIST. NOON ON FRIDAY 01/29/2027 IS THE DEADLINE FOR REPORTING ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS. CONTACT THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR WITH ANY CONCERNS.
