Description
Hiroyuki Akimoto is one of the most accomplished athletes of his generation in the lightweight division. He rose to international prominence as the -73kg World Champion in 2010, and is also a six-time Grand Slam gold medalist, demonstrating consistent success at the highest levels of competition.
Akimoto represented Japan with distinction throughout his competitive career and is now giving back to the sport as a coach for the Japanese national team, continuing to shape the next generation of elite judoka.
Hisayoshi Harasawa is one of Japan’s premier heavyweights and a two-time Olympic medalist, earning silver at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and bronze at Tokyo 2020. A multiple-time medalist at the World Judo Championships and winner of numerous IJF World Tour events, Harasawa is known for his powerful gripping, dominant uchimata, and relentless pressure in the +100kg division. As a featured clinician, he brings world-class experience and a technical approach that translates to all levels of judo.
