REGISTRATION

$40 Male Weight Divisions
$30 Male Open-Weight (athlete must ALSO be registered for a Male Weight Division)
$40 Female Weight Divisions
$30 Female Open-Weight (athlete must ALSO be registered for a Female Weight Division)

Please associate yourself with your club during registration to lower the chances of club members seeing one another before finals. Your coach can create a club account on Smoothcomp for ease of selection.

All Competitors MUST weigh in before 8:30AM on the event day AND be present at the Competitor Briefing at 8:30am on April 11, 2026. Competitors not present, will NOT be able to compete.

ALL competitors MUST bring a towel with them and towel off before bouts. If you do not wish to bring a towel from home, you can purchase an event towel at weigh-in.

Competitors must be present at the Dohyo at least 15 minutes before their scheduled Bout. The Schedule and Dohyo assignments will be released after weigh-ins.

WHO CAN COMPETE

Adults (18+ years) - beginner through advanced.

All U.S. Competitors must be registered with USSF.

International Athletes are welcome and encouraged!

At this year's tournament, we will not be welcoming competitors representing the nation of Russia.

START TIME DETAILS

Wrestling begins at 9:00AM sharp! The event will conclude at 5:00PM.

Competitor names will be called 3 times, if a competitor does not show, they will be marked as a loss and the bracket will advance.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

This is a highlight of our tournament! Participants will be afforded at least 3 bouts before elimination in most weight classes. Divisions with enough competitors will use multiple round robin format. Divisions too small for multiple round robin will use different formats as deemed appropriate.

Open weight format will also depend on number of registrants.

After the tournament is complete, we plan on holding exhibition bouts. This will allow competitors the opportunity for more time in the dohyo, and provide a better return on investment for attending!

ATTIRE

*To align with ISF tournaments, stricter attire regulations will be in effect*

Men:

Must be shirtless.
May wear shorts that are tight and have no pockets, that end above the knee.

Women:

Must have at minimum a wrestling singlet.
May opt for short sleeve rash guard top and tight shorts without pockets, that end above the knee.

Mawashi/Belt:

Mawashi must be of high quality and heavy weight. Thin mawashi will be disallowed.
Minimum weight to match Duck Canvas #4.
Mawashi inspection will occur at check-in.

MANDATORY WEIGH INS & COMPETITOR CHECK-IN

Saturday, April 11, 2026 at The Exhibition Hall - Seattle Center from 7:15am - 8:30am.

100% Government ID or PASSPORT check at Check-in. ID information must match registration and chosen divisions.

ALL competitors must weigh- in.

In line with other combat sports, there will be no early weigh ins this year. Please make sure you are at weight early so you don't have to do an extreme cut.

If you miss weight, you will be placed into the division appropriate for your weight.

CORRECTIONS & CANCELLATIONS

Registration fees are non-refundable after April 1st.

SPECTATORS

Spectating is free! Please enjoy the 50th Anniversary Seattle Cherry Blossom and Japanese Cultural Festival.

Mens

Ultra Lightweight: Up to 77kg (169.8lbs)
Lightweight: Between 77.1kg and 85kg (187lbs)
Middleweight: Between 85.1kg and 100kg (220lbs)
Light Heavy: Between 100.1kg and 115kg (254lbs)
Heavyweight: 115.1kg or more (254.1 and up)
Openweight: All weights are valid.

Womens

Lightweight: Up to 65kg (143lbs)
Middleweight: Between 65.1kg and 73kg (161lbs)
Light Heavy: Between 73.1kg and 80kg (176lbs)
Heavyweight: Between 80.1kg and 100kg (220lbs)
Super Heavyweight: 100.1kg or more (220lbs and up)
Openweight: All weights are valid.
