2026 Pan Asian Gi & No Gi International Open , Sat June 13
The 1st and one of the largest BJJ International events in the Asian region since 2005.
This year, we proudly host Children, Junior, and Adult divisions, across all belt levels up to Masters 5.
With a strong and growing international presence, this event continues to attract athletes from across the region and beyond, delivering a high-level competition experience.
We look forward to the continued support of the BJJ community in building this into one of the most prestigious and recognized events on the Asian calendar.
All Children's and Junior matches, including U18 , U21 will be under the JJIF rule set. The most notable difference between JJIF and IBJJF is the Golden score for drawn matches and the weight classes are standard JJIF . This is in preparation for the JJAU South East Asian Regionals and other Junior National Team events .
JJFP Junior National Team Talent Identification : Medalists Under 14 , U16 U18 that execl in the BJJFP competitions are welcome to join the National Youth Team Training Saturday 9.30 to 11.30.
RULESET : Aduklts , U21 , Children and Juniors
- Children / Juniors (U8 , U10 , U12 , 14 , U16 & U18 ) divisions will follow the JJIF Ruleset.
- Key difference: Golden Score system for tied matches
- Under 21 will be an Open Belt category , same weight classes and 5min matches as JJIF adults
This aligns with preparation for the JJAU Southeast Asian Regionals
- Adult divisions will follow IBJJF Rules including match times

- Must be done wearing your Gi and belt

BRACKETS & MATCH SCHEDULE
- Provisional brackets released: Monday before the event
- Correction deadline: Wednesday (midnight before event week)
- Athletes can check brackets and schedule via Smoothcomp
- Weigh in before the 1st match wearing your Gi and Belt
. All Competitor must create their own Smooth comp account using their email address including Team Entries that are making direct deposits. From this account athletes and Coaches can see the brackets match schedule and edit or make changes to the entries. We can approve the registration if it is not paid online via Smooth comp .

CHildren & Youth Divisions
- All children compete under White Belt / Open Belt categories
- Male and Female divisions available
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
Gi - Adults
- Only White, Blue, or Black Gis
- Must comply with IBJJF standards
- Clean, properly fitted, and in good condition
No-Gi β Adults
- Black shorts
- Rash guard (no loose t-shirts)
- Must include 10% of belt color
Gi β Kids
- Only White
- Must comply with JJIF standards
- Clean, properly fitted, and in good condition
- Bring Red / Blue belt. The top competitor on the board wears the Red belt
Gi β Kids
- Black shorts
- Rash guard (no loose t-shirts)
- Preferably Red / blue.
MEDIA POLICY
- Photographers are welcome. Please follow the information below
- Only official or approved photographers allowed inside competition area
- Register at admin table for access and a media vest
- Please provide a link for your photos to be posted to the BJJFP FB page
ELIGIBILITY RULES
- Amateur MMA fighters β may compete as blue belts or above
- Judo Black Belts / National Wrestlers / Pro MMA Fighters β must compete as Blue Belt or above
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Single-entry competitors may collect medals at the podium anytime
- Absolute division entry available before deadline
- Youth medalists may be invited to join JJFP National Youth Training (Sunday 9.30 β11:30 AM)

Youth Categories ( listed as White or Open Belt )
The age following age categories1 will be allowed to participate in this event.
Please note all children competitors must be Under the age group ie U 10 has to less than 10 years old not 10 and say 2 months
NOTICE TO ALL COMPETITORS & COACHES
We require the full cooperation of all participants to ensure the competition runs smoothly and on schedule.
- Please listen carefully for your name and follow the match schedule via your mobile device or the event screens.
- If you are not present at the weigh-in area after three (3) calls, you will be disqualified.
Coaching Rules
- Coaches are allowed inside the competition area for childrenβs matches only.
- Coaches must exit the competition area immediately after the match to avoid congestion.
- No coaches are permitted in the competition area for adult matches.
