FNQ's premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition returns, welcoming junior and adult competitors from all academies to compete in both Gi and No-Gi divisions. Join us for a professionally run, spectator-friendly event focused on providing maximum mat time and an outstanding competition experience.

The 2026 FNQ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships are open to all junior and adult competitors in both Gi and No-Gi divisions and are conducted under IBJJF rules.
This event uses a Round Robin Pool Format, where divisions of up to five competitors are guaranteed multiple matches.
By competing in both Gi and No-Gi, athletes may receive up to eight matches.
Our goal is to maximise mat time, experience and athlete development for competitors of all skill levels.
Pre-registration only. No entries will be accepted on the day.

Competitor lists remain live throughout registration.
After registration closes, competitors have until 11:00am the following day to request any changes.
Athletes who are alone in their division may move to another suitable division or withdraw for full event credit.
Where appropriate, divisions with a single competitor may be merged with another division.
If no suitable matches are available, a full event credit will be issued.
No cash refunds.
If you receive no matches or your opponent does not attend, you will receive full event credit.
Brackets and division schedules will be published after late registration closes.
Please check Smoothcomp regularly for your division time.
Competitors must be present at the venue at least 60 minutes before their scheduled division.
Weigh-ins take place on the day of the event.
You only need to weigh in once and may weigh in without your Gi if preferred.
All competitors must complete weigh-in at least 60 minutes before their first division.
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to all podium finishers.
Live TV scoreboards will display athlete names, academy names and match information throughout the day.
Results will update live on Smoothcomp as matches are completed.
Brown and Black Belt competitors receive FREE registration.
