4th Annual International Muay Thai Tournament β Open to athletes from Canada, the United States, and worldwide.

Athlete Registration
π Athlete Registration
1. Submit your athlete registration by clicking βRegister to Event.β
2.Register with Muay Thai Ontario (MTO) if not already a member: https://muaythaiontario.org/documents/2025-competitive-membership-application/
3. Complete and bring required medical documentation:

* Bloodwork (16+ years of age) and annual medical required
Bring the following to check-in (digital or physical copy accepted):
- Medical forms
- Proof of valid MTO annual membership (approval email from MTO is acceptable)
- Health Card
Athlete & Coach Check-In
π Thursday, August 13 | 1:00 PM β 6:00 PM
- Location: Tournament registration desk (found in upper viewing lounge of the Kitchener Auditorium)
- Required documentation must be presented (see above)
- Divisions finalized (last chance for changes into open brackets)
- Accreditation (passes) distributed β coaches or proxy must be present
- Mandatory Rules Meeting: 7:00 PM
- Brackets released in the evening
Brackets & Matching
- Empty Brackets Close: July 19
- Brackets without at least one athlete will close.
- After July 19, athletes may only register in open brackets.
- Coaches will be contacted for matchmaking.
- Team Limit: Only two athletes from the same team may compete in the same division.
Division & Weight Class Changes
- Experience Disclosure: Athletes must accurately disclose fight experience. Division changes due to updated experience are free of charge.
- Weight Class Changes:
- Free until July 19
- $40 fee after July 19, up until registration day
- $60 fee on registration day
- Athletes may only transfer into brackets with openings
- Failure to make weight = automatic disqualification (no refund)
Withdrawals & Refund Policy
- No refunds will be issued for injuries, withdrawals, or personal circumstances. Withdrawing from the 2026 CMTO Tournament is voluntary, and on your behalf. Tournament organizers are not responsible or accountable for circumstances or issues on your behalf.
- Refunds are only granted if you are the sole athlete in your division and no suitable matchup can be arranged.
- Coaches, athletes, and parents must be willing to accept reasonable matchups, or bout accommodations. (e.g., close weight or age group adjustments in youth divisions).
- Athletes must notify organizers if unable to attend. Athletes in smaller divisions must be given ample notice to change divisions or weight classes.

Requirements for Head Coaches & Corners:
- Submit the CMTO Registration Form
- Register with Muay Thai Ontario (if not already) & pay fee
- Provide a valid Police Record Check
Corner Passes:
- Issued on registration day only (August 13)
- Each team: 2 complimentary passes
- Teams with 7+ athletes: 3 complimentary passes
- Additional passes: $50 (available at registration)

Friday, August 14 β Day 1
- 7:00 AM β Weigh-in & medical check (athletes competing this day only)
- 10:00 AM β Opening Ceremonies
- 11:00 AM β Preliminary & Quarterfinal bouts
Saturday, August 15 β Day 2
- 7:00 AM β Weigh-in & medical check
- 11:00 AM β Quarterfinal & Semifinal bouts
- 3:00 PM β Wai Kru Ram Competition (details available for interested athletes upon registration, Thursday August 13th. Please inquire - spaces limited)
Sunday, August 16 β Day 3
- 7:00 AM β Weigh-in & medical check
- 11:00 AM β Semifinal & Championship bouts
β οΈ Athletes weigh in only on competition days. Missing weight = automatic disqualification.
Spectators
- Tickets available at the door (non-refundable)
- Adults: $50/day or $125 weekend pass
- Children (under 12): $25/day or $70 weekend pass
Athlete Photo Requirement
Athletes must upload a clear headshot photo during registration. Other images will not be accepted for tournament passes.
