Join us for the 2026 Battle at the Fairgrounds Kids No Gi BJJ Youth Tournament, hosted by Pioneer Grappling Academy!
This exciting event will take place at the Alaska State Fair, test your toughness and grit against some of the best young grapplers in the region. Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your skills and compete in a supportive and challenging environment.
Brackets will be determined by Years of experience
(2 or less years' experience and 2+ years' experience)
Weights will be Maddison bracketing; we may have to adjust brackets if you only have 1 person in your bracket (be advised that weight will not be excess of 15%)
** It is your responsibility to inform your coach if you have any questions regarding this tournament **
** Everyone will have at least 2 matches **
This Tournament is limited to 150 Entries
Medals for the Top 3 placers in each bracket
Weigh-In Sheets due August 19th @ 8PM (There will be no ONSITE weigh-ins)
Tournament start time is 12pm AKSDT on August 22, 2026
Registration Fee $65 until 06/30/2026 by 11:59pm
LATE Registration Fee $85 after 06/30/2026 until August 19th

When and where is the 2026 Battle at the Fairgrounds?

Registration is $65 until 06/30/2026 by 11:59pm. Late registration is $85 after 06/30/2026 until August 19th.

No. Weigh-In Sheets are due August 19th at 8PM, and there will be no onsite weigh-ins.
How are brackets determined?

Yes. There is a women's 8-man absolute bracket, and the 8-Man BMF bracket is not open registration. There are no weight class or belt level restrictions for these brackets.
