AIO is open to players competing in Kata and Shiai.

Registration on this website is for players competing in Kata only
All Australian players must be financial members of a Judo Australia (JA) member State or Territory. All International players must be International Judo Federation (IJF) affiliated, have their own insurance, and are required to organise their own visas.
The competition will run under the Judo Australia Sporting Code and based on the latest IJF Kata Competition, Criteria for the Evaluation. In addition to the five standard competition Katas (Nage no Kata, Katame no Kata, Kime no Kata, Ju no Kata, and KDK Goshin Jutsu), junior and senior boys and girls may compete in Junior Nage no Kata, where only the first three sets of the standard Nage no Kata are demonstrated. Kata pairs may be mixed gender.

Shiai Weigh-in: 6.00pm to 7.30pm at The Lights (Event Venue)
SATURDAY 23 AUGUST 2025
- 8.00am - Kata practice
- 9.00am - Event Official Opening
- 9.30am - Kata and Shiai together with medal presentations during event
Event Official Closing: End of event (5.00pm approx)
SUNDAY 24 AUGUST 2025
9.00am to 1.00pm FREE Kata Judge Training Workshop
