We would like to kindly invite you to the 18th Palamidio Martial Arts Championship which is continuously being organized for the last 18 consecutive years and is one of the oldest martial arts events in Greece.

The Championship is scheduled to be held on the ) 13-15 November 2026, at the Municipal sports center of the Municipality of Nafplio (Nafplio-Nea Kios avenue).

🎖️The Championship is under the auspices of the Hellenic Wushu Kungfu Federation 

The competitions which will be included in the championship are the following: Taolu (bare fist-weapons), sanda, L.sanda.

💥Markings related to the general regulations

🐲All athletes should provide passport, valid Health Certificate and insurance. The Health Certificate is only valid if it has been issued within a period of 30 days prior to the competition.

🐲All the athletes from 8 years old and under will be awarded a medal of participation

🐲Every athlete can participate in as many categories as he/she wants

🐲Health Coverage: Doctor, Dimitris Bakirtzis, Greek Rescue Team. The stadium has a defibrillator. Also, an ambulance will be in the forecourt, throughout the matches.

🐲The ages of the participants are determined by their date of birth according to the conducting dates of the championship

🐲Only certified coaches  are allowed in the sporting area. Coaches,should be dressed in athlete clothes. Shorts, jeans or similar clothing is not allowed.

🐲Photographing, recording, or the use of mobile phones is not allowed in the sporting area

🐲The referees of the Greek Wushu kung-fu federation  will arbitrate the championship.

🐲In case of unsportsmanlike or abusive behavior during the match, the prescribed actions defined by the disciplinary code will be followed

🐲Taolu:  Clothing: flat Wushu shoes. Suits according to the spirit of Wushu. 

🐲Sanda, L. sanda: Equipment- clothing:  equipment: 10 oz gloves, hand wraps, shin guards with instep protection, mouthguard, headgear, groin guard. Chest protector (provided by the organizers).          Fight Duration: Under 9 years old: 3 × 50΄΄,    10 to 17 years old: 3 × 1:30, 18 years and above: 3 × 2:00

Spectator’s fee: 3€
