absolutely love the crew and vibe here. the sign up and cancellation process were the smoothest of any school I've ever visited. School has a laid back attitude with a bunch of absolute killers.
Amazing hospitality thank you Prof.Maidana for the warm welcome and hospitality. He welcomed mw and my son and my students with open arms. Great place to train.
I was visiting my mother her in Reseda, CA. From Atlanta, GA.
Did a drive by and happened to stumble on Checkmat, Northridge. Went in met with head instructor Arnaldo Maidana, introduced myself and asked if I could train at his gym. He said of course. My visit here was good, even better having the privilege of training with a bunch of solid guys. Thank you for having me as your guest. Excellent Jiu-jitsu. Gi & Nogi
Checkmat is a really solid jiu jitsu gym that work with different techniques compared to other jiu jitsu gyms. There is gi and no gi classes plus important amenities.
Great classes. Clean, friendly and respectful environment. Started going to this location about 4 months ago and don't plan on leaving! Highly reccomend this place and professor Arnaldo.
Beautiful CLEAN and FRESH facility. Professor Arnaldo is one of the very best Champion Black Belt instructors around. It is like Family once you step onto the mats. I highly recommend .
