Having done multiple different martial arts in the past, I have to say none of them quite matches the repertoire one can acquire from BJJ, for both self defence purposes and as a sport. Also having been to a few different BJJ gyms before landing my feet at One Purposes BJJ, I have to say One Purpose BJJ far exceeds anything I have experienced in other BJJ gyms.
The amount of professionalism, knowledge and skillsets from the coaching Team at One Purpose is nothing short of world class. But what I find that sets them apart from other gyms is their care for your individual journey and growth with the sport, taking an interest in how BJJ can help you succeed at life - both on and off the mats.
Every person (coach and training partners) I have met at this gym have been so welcoming, incredibly kind, eager to help and just amazing human beings.
One Purpose BJJ is one of the best martial arts gyms I've set my foot in and I couldn't recommend them enough.
One Purpose Slacks Creek is a beautiful welcoming club with awesome coaches who are very invested in their students. It is a great learning environment and very family friendly. Tegan and Bob have created an awesome culture, highly recommend for families and anyone serious about BJJ.
I attended the grand opening. Today I attended an open mat for the Easter weekend. Great atmosphere. The quality of training partners is outstanding.
The facilities are very good. The mats are excellent. And the padded 45 degree wall at the back is a great novelty.
