I’m so happy we were recommended to go to this Jiu- Jitsu gym. They are great with all ages. My daughter’s 4 and is learning fast, very excited to come and meet her new friends. Every instructor and member have helped both my daughters(4yrs and 9yrs old) out on learning new techniques. They are very patient with all the kids. Very fun to watch.

My girls definitely enjoy it as well as I do. They offer from kids to teens and adults. My girls have learned so much from the time they started and the coaches are 100% awesome. The team makes you feel like family and take the time to teach you about the details while also having fun. Definitely give them a chance.

I can’t share enough how impacted my son is by all the coaches that have helped him gain his confidence back after being bullied at school. He has done a 360 since we’ve been at Virtue and it shows! Sign your kids up, you won’t regret it one bit! Enjoy this picture of my son watching his favorite coach and taking pointers!

Morning program is a good way to start your day and focus on your Jiujitsu. I have been a BJJ practitioner since 2013. I can say from experience of training at other gyms, that Virtue under Justin Renick is an elite training academy. The team is there to help with personal development. Great to grow competitively and also encourage others to just come for healthy exercise. Very respectful atmosphere.

Virtue Jiu-Jitsu is simply amazing! 🤩 Before we made the decision to join, we visited all of the Jiu-Jitsu schools in our area. Our son is shy and not very prone to being super active, but Virtue’s coaches have been super fun, friendly, and yet disciplined and serious. I couldn’t love it more. Virtue Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is absolutely amazing! The coaches here are exceptional, especially when working with young kids. They are kind, patient, and incredibly respectful, always making sure each child feels comfortable and confident. The individual attention and instruction they provide to every student is truly impressive. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and there’s plenty of seating for parents to watch their kids train. It’s clear that the coaches genuinely care about their students’ progress, both on and off the mats. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great environment for their child to learn and grow in Jiu-Jitsu! I was visiting from Idaho, and needed a place to roll, and the Virtue Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team was awesome. Jared was great and welcoming. When I gave him a call a few days in advance, he welcomed me to train as often as I wanted while visiting family in the area. All of the team that train there were super friendly and welcomed me as soon as I stepped on the mats. It was great! If you live close by, I highly recommend training with these guys. If you are traveling in the area and want to continue your training, this is the place to go to. Also, the techniques that I did not know were taught well and I was given close one on one instruction and correction. Great place to be!

We visited Virtue BJJ and Coach Justin while visiting family in the Belton area. Our family was welcomed with open arms and Coach Justin allowed our family to train for multiple days. The gym has different kids classes based on age and Coach Justin works wonderfully with them all. The way Coach Justin explains jiu jitsu to his students resonates well with all ages and the gym staff along with their expectations allow children of all ages to train in a safe and supportive environment. The adult classes were just as welcoming as the kids classes. Everyone on the mats were extremely helpful and supportive to each other throughout the training sessions. Coach Justin and his staff have a gift with teaching their students at any stage of their jiu jitsu journey. There were plenty of seats for parents/children/spouses to observe the classes in session, and there was even a place for kids to wait and play while adults were having their own class. We will definitely return to Virtue BJJ anytime we are in the area.

I had no idea what to expect when I walked in the door to enroll my son who just turned 6. Would the instructors be egotistical? Would the be hardasses? Would the other parents be obnoxious? The answer to all three was NO. The coaches are amazing people aside from being great instructors. They care deeply about all of their students. They are attentive and patient. My son has impaired mobility in one of his shoulders, and they keep it top of mind when he trains, informing his partner ahead of time, and keeping an extra eye to make sure no one gets hurt. The other parents have been so welcoming and their children are fantastic. The kids, who are way more advanced than my son, are patient with him as he learns, and even help him with his technique. As odd as it is to say, a week in, it already feels like a community that I have been welcomed into and am honored to be a part of.

I moved from Washington having only trained Jiu Jitsu for about 4 months. I knew I wanted to find a good gym to call home for the next few years I am in Texas. I took one class with Justin, Jeff, and all the Virtue team and signed up for a year right after class. The amount of growth I’ve seen in just 6 short months under the guidance of Justin and Jeff has been exponential. Whether you’re looking for a class for your kids, a way to lose weight, a hobby to dive into, or to be a competition athlete, Virtue is the right place. The meticulous nature of training and technicality that the coaches put into class day in and day out allows everyone to grow. The gym is a very family friendly environment that has structure and respect built in. I am always smiling when I am here and have fallen in love with this sport here at Virtue and look forward to continuing this Jiu Jitsu journey that I am on. I have been training with Justin since he was a teen and even then his dedication to training/learning surpassed his age. When Justin asked me to help him run his Gi classes i jumped at the chance to share my knowledge and gain some of his. Justin's jiu jitu is a smooth mix of rock solid fundamentals and high level advanced techniques that he has tested on the competition stage with great success. This is evident in the students that Virtue is producing. Jiu jitsu is the best investment i have ever made in myself in terms of self improvement and simply setting out to achieve a goal that most shy away from. When my daughter approached me wanting to start MMA, I personally was quite surprised and didn’t know what to expect. After doing trial classes at a few gyms in the area, I was feeling discouraged that it just wasn’t a good fit… until we tried Virtue BJJ. The owner, Justin, was the kind of coach I was hoping to meet for my (then) 6 year old. He welcomed her and immediately made her feel like family. There was no pressure or militant type attitude. The way he explains technique works for students that learn in multiple ways. He explains technique in way that is easy for a child to learn and is patient with them as they put the pieces of that technique together. His passion for the sport shines through when he is teaching. My daughter had severe anxiety before training, and now she is “anxiety free” (competitions still make her anxious, but who doesn’t get anxious before having 3 mins to submit a complete stranger). The other owner, Jennifer (Justin’s wife), is like a second mom to my daughter. She treats every child in the gym like her own, as do all of the coaches at Virtue. She always welcomes anyone who comes into the gym with a big smile and a warm greeting. The parents there treat everyone like family; they help out in anyway they can, and lift each other up in times of crisis. If you ever need anything, about 20 people in that room would offer to help. We have been at Virtue BJJ for about a year and a half now, and I don’t have a single bad thing to say about it. The kids classes are well organized and taught in a way they can understand. The adult classes are full of wonderful people, the kind of people you want to stay in your life. All of the coaches, Justin, Jeff, Kathy, Darin, Alan, Anthony and Brock treat everyone with respect, kids and parents. If you want to join a gym that you feel like home at, join Virtue BJJ. Justin is my daughters idol, and I am proud of that. If you compete, Justin is the man you want in your corner.

Virtue has been an amazing place for my kids to learn BJJ in a fun, safe, family atmosphere over the last 7 months. Professor Justin is an absolutely amazing teacher. Coach Ash, and the rest of the children's instructors provide great supplemental teaching with excellent oversight and patience. Watching my kids do BJJ even gave me the itch to try it out. In adult class Professor Justin and Professor Jeff are great at breaking things down in an easy/logical way making both GI and NoGi training fun and effective. Virtue is an excellent place for both kids and adults to learn BJJ while getting in a good workout with some amazing people. His technical ability is outstanding, and his ability to teach is phenomenal. He takes the time to break down the details, and you can see how much passion he has for what he's doing. What makes this academy worth it overall? 1. Professor Justin: he treats you like family, makes you feel at home, and he's A BEAST! But you never ever feel like you're going to get hurt with anybody when you roll. 2. The atmosphere here is like family. Everybody here has wonderful humility; no egos! :) If you're looking to improve, feel at home, grow as a martial artist, or whether you're wanting to compete and win or just train for the fun and to stay in shape, this is the place to train! Again, I cannot stress enough what a pleasure it is to train with Professor Justin and his crew of gentle beasts! No matter what your desired result is, you'll find it here!

Took my son to Virtue BJJ, due to him struggling to learn at another school in the area. Within the first class, it was a noticeable difference. Top-notch instruction!! I have recommended them to everyone.

My four year old has trained with Justin for over two months now. His focus and discipline have increased, as well as his sense of responsibility on and off of the mat. Justin is not only skilled, but a kind and patient coach. There are a community of helpful and knowledgeable people at Virtue that make regularly coming to class a rewarding experience. I have joined the adult classes and acknowledge the value of this opportunity to grow, learn, and get stronger alongside my son.
