As a former fighter I wanted a place for my son that focused on the right training and not just a class running around kicking. they focus Individual to provide success and proper techniques. Sensei Dave and Zack are awesome. I love that they really bring you feedback and don't just advance them just because. You earn the belts. The program is structured properly by individual even though its in a group they will let you know what to work on for advancing. somthing alot of school do not do. Definitely check them out. My son is excited to advance in to weapon training 🙌..

Hey!!! I couldn’t wait to make this review! This dojo is something else, so caring, understanding, supportive and strict in the best way possible. My little one is 7 with some sensory issues and the senseis here work so well with him. It has been hard for him to find something he likes to do and comfort with in other adults but they were quick to create a structured and fun bond! 10000000/10 recommend!

Racine Championship Martial Arts is the best place for your child to gain confidence. The instructors have patience with students that do not catch on quickly. My daughter started last June and is always looking forward to going to Karate. If it wasn't for this class, I do not think she would have the confidence she does now. Definitely recommended Racine Martial Arts.

The Senseis at Championship Martial Arts are wonderful with the kids. The Senseis teach them self discipline and respect for others and themselves. If you are looking to get your child involved, or even yourself, they offer classes for younger children all the way up to adults. My niece has been with CMA for almost 5 yrs and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in themselves or their children learning karate.

Great place, all the teachers and the kids that help them are great with the younger kids. Helps with that extra energy, teaches them respect and discipline. We've been going there a couple months now and my 6 year old daughter has learned so much, she looks forward to going every class. I look forward to her earning her black belt there in time and passing the things she learned to the younger generation, just as the older kids are helping her now.

I have been going to this karate studio for about four years and it's been a blast. All the instructors are kind and helpful and they even encourage older students to work with leadership skills and teach as well! They offer different weapons of all varieties and self defences to help defend yourself. Highly recommend, one of the best impacts of my life

Not a ton to say specifically, they're a really great karate studio and a great group of people. If you have any inkling of wanting to do martial arts then I strongly recommend going here. Enthusiastic, supportive, and a lot more practical for the average person learning martial arts then most of these places tend to be. Something I really valued. Only Con in my mind is know ahead of time it's like most martial arts places, their business model can be a bit pricey I'd say, but they're at worst industry standard in that regards. I'd say they come in quite a bit on the cheaper side, but at worst they're standard. You'll get that anywhere though in the martial arts world.

My five year old son has been a member for two weeks now and we love it. The instructors teach at his level and are so professional. I wasn't sure what to expect but I am truly amazed at how the program is run and what is taught. I'm glad we made the decision to sign him up.

Black Belt Karate Studio is a huge asset to the Racine community. In addition to having an extremely talented head instructor, the senseis regularly teach an anti-bullying curriculum at local schools. The owners also hold special fund-raisers for important causes like finding a cure for breast cancer. On top of all of this, my children and I have received an excellent education in martial arts.

In addition to being a great outlet for physical fitness, he is learning lessons that he will carry with him the rest of his life. I am a 65 year old senior citizen that got involved in BBKS when I went with my 6 year old grandson to the Fathers Day event last year. I have been a member for a little over a year the instructors have been helpful, instructive and understanding, they always are there to help you if you don't understand what you are working on and they stay after if you need extra help or if you would like to record the kata you are working on

The instructors really focus on helping the kids, and challenge them to get better. They get real self defense skills, and also the focus and training of katas. The sensei(s) make it a point that everyone gets personal attention, and everyone tries their hardest. We've been really happy with our experience here.

This is a great school for both kids and adults. The senseis relate really well with kids and can teach with out being intimidating. For the adults they create an inclusive atmosphere so you are always learning regardless of your skill level.

Love sending my son there, the sensei's are very patient with the younger children and always help to engage and reengage your children. The kids seem to love it there and are always smiling and having fun. The classes are well organized and they always seem to maintain the attention of the children. They also have a good ability of sensing when someone may need more one on one attention and help with that (and they have the ability to because in the younger classes they seem to have at least 3 ppl on the floor), which I was most concerned about.

Thieves money hungry rude take money out your account over vacation when there are know classes won’t give money back or let u go for 2 weeks free since I already paid so I got ripped off paid for 3 weeks worth of classes & my child only went once i cancelled they wouldn’t let my child finish his last day but they made sure they took there money #scam #artist

Scandalous Thieves I paid in full not weekly and my son broke his arm and missed 11 weeks of his classes. I'm a single parent and I directly afterwards had to have major surgery which is 8 months of recovery time. They won't refund over $300 due to this unfortunate unforeseen events and told me I should be happy to know that he can come back and complete these classes at anytime because our money will be on his account forever and there is no way to refund it. They stole from us. It's not like after a year his uniform will fit which would be more money they would take from us, Or that he may even still be interested. It's not like I paid weekly and he just missed classes. This was all out of our control and the complete heartless treatment we received is completely discouraging to even put my children into anything like this again because life happens and you just wouldn't expect to be out of almost $400 on top of all the trauma our family has already endured. They are scandalous Thieves keeping our money on an account that will never be used again. Unprofessional. I've never been cheated out of so much money before. Don't send your child here. If you by chance have circumstances happen like my family did they will just keep your money and not give a damn about your family at all.

Good place to have your bank account tapped out and they are great at teaching your children that if you pay the money, you can get the next belt. Just the standard pay to play martial arts school. Don't let them fool you into thinking that you will learn true martial arts ideals. Once you sign the contract they will tell you how they have no control over what happens. Shysters is what they use to be called. Very sad that they are allowed to run a school the way they do. I guess that is what you get when you hire MAIA to "mentor" you. Cookie cutter karate in a box. Do your research and save your kid from gym class in a gi. Very sad
