ATA Martial Arts Jonesboro is a family-operated martial arts school that’s served Jonesboro, Arkansas for over a decade where everything’s earned!
Great for children - adults. The kids can learn great life, and leadership skills as the get a great workout. My daughter has enjoyed the program for 4 conservative years now. The adults can get a great workout too. I can't recommend a better place. All the staff is very friendly and honestly they feel like family at this point.
The best martial arts you will find. Amazing people, very professional. They genuinely care about what they do and will take your kids to their full potential.

Love ATA in Jonesboro!! Mr. Baez is a great instructor and love the life lessons the kids are taught as well. Mrs. Baez is awesome and she is great with the kids!
These guys are excellent. Not only do they ensure that students learn the required material in a timely manner, they also give an in-depth explanation of why; the why is just as important as the how.
If you're on the fence about whether or not to attend Action ATA Jonesboro, do yourself a favor and at least give their trial a try.
Absolutely love ATA-Action Martial Arts! Master Gonzalez and his family are amazing and have definitely helped my son in his attitude, discipline, and self esteem. They are hands on and make sure to work with each child to ensure they "get it" I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone!
ATA Martial Arts is a phenomenal place for children and adults alike. We have been so happy with our experience with ATA and the Gonzales family. They have become more than an extracurricular, but a more of a part of our family. They treat our children like their own and celebrate them by teaching the skill of martial arts and discipline. If you're looking for something to get your child(ren) involved in, I would recommend them 100 times over!

My younger brother and sister started karate almost a year before I finally started to. I have seen the school grow even more in their second year here in Jonesboro. I never thought I would be doing martial arts, but I am 20 years old and I love it. Not only kids need their confidence and self-esteem boosted and that is exactly what Action ATA Jonesboro does! My younger brother and sister have grown into disciplined, confident kids. I HIGHLY recommend ATA Jonesboro for anyone, ANY age!! It's a great workout, too. :)

Action Martial Arts has become our home away from home. Joining their program was the best decision for our son. He is learning so much more than martial arts. He is learning confidence, leadership skills, goal setting, and dedication. The Gonzalez family exemplifies these traits and we are so blessed that they are a part of our lives!
Great Martial Arts School. I highly recommend this school for all ages. My whole family including myself are students here. My kids have improved at school this year with confidence, discipline and respect. They love to come to class. We have made so many friends here.
My son loves to do Taekwondo. The instructors there have set a great example for my son to follow. You can really tell they love what they do. My family and I could not be more happy than we are with them.
My boys started ATA Jonesboro two years ago and love this place. The instructors are great people and work well with all age of students. My boys have more confidence in themselves and more respect.
My son has just started, however he is so enthralled by the instructors and their passion. I, as a parent, am very impressed by the values that are impressed upon them each and every time they walk through the door. Most importantly though is the respect the instructors show every single student, whether they are here for the first time or are already on an advanced belt. The classes are truly going to impact my student in and outside of the ATA classroom.

I can't even begin to express the gratitude and appreciation I have for the entire Gonzales family. My husband and our 2 sons had not been active in ATA for almost a year due to a move and we were so excited when we saw the sign for ATA Jonesboro. In just one month they were back on track. I immediately saw a change in our boys that still exists today! They look forward to going to class, they are excited to practice (without being asked) and have a greater respect for us as well as others. Their confidence level is amazing. I was so impressed with their progress that I even joined! I leave each class with a smile on my face. In just a few short months I'm jumping and kicking and doing things I never thought I would EVER be able to do! I attribute all of this to Master Gonzales and his family. They are kind and truly care about their students and want them to do well. They are amazing instructors and I feel very fortunate that my family has this family in our lives!
My wife has been taking Taekwondo with Master Gonzalez for approximately five years, and has always driven over an hour to do so. Since it is closer to go to Jonesboro, she transferred to his new school when it opened. Our oldest daughter asked if she could take Taekwondo as well, and I decided to start training and go through our color belts at the same time. The Gonzalez Family of instructors have brought ATA to our family on a whole new level of fun, fitness, self-defense, and self confidence. I believe that the Gonzalezes each bring their own talents and unique ways of teaching to fit students of all ages, ability levels, and learning styles. Come and try ATA for yourself, your children, your family!
If anyone in the Jonesboro area is thinking about taking martial arts then I highly recommend my instructor Master Gonzalez and his family. My 3 girls and I were honored to have Master Gonzalez as an instructor for 10 plus years, he is the best of the best. While I trained with Master Gonzalez I learned so many things...patience, confidence, honor, integrity and many more things. I could not have asked for a better example for my girls to learn from. He showed me what it is to be a leader and that you never ever give up. He has the best support group with his wonderful family by his side whom I grew to love. The Gonzalez family is and always will be a great enhancement to me and my 3 daughters. I can honestly say that my taekwondo career would not have been as rewarding without Master Gonzalez. 5 stars don't begin to describe the experience you could have with the Gonzalez family at ATA - Jonesboro.

Master Gonzalez is the greatest instructor. My daughter started Taekwondo a little over 4 years ago. Recently she wrote an essay about her everyday hero, Master Gonzalez. She writes, “Master Gonzalez encourages kids, helps us out all the time, and teaches us to have a better and more positive attitude. The most important thing is he is always so happy to see the kids no matter how his day has been.” Not only does he teach his students, he also nurtures them as one of his own. It is not only just Master Gonzalez who is like that, his whole family is. They give so much of themselves. Over the last year, Master Gonzalez encouraged and supported my daughter as she went out for State Champion in Combat Sparring. Without his encouragement and support, she would have never seen the potential in herself. For all of these reasons, that is why my daughter see’s Master Gonzalez as her everyday hero.
Master Gonzalez is by far one of the greatest teachers of martial arts in the country! My family of four got our black belts under Master Gonzalez. We had the best time going to classes and tournaments. He is deeply missed in the central Arkansas area but Jonesboro has gained one heck of an instructor!! The Gonzalez family in general are wonderful and caring people!! Highly recommend taking classes if you want to lose weight, self-defense or just get in the best shape of your life.
