I started training at this gym about six months ago. Over the course of these six months, I’ve made some great progress, and great connections at the gym. I look forward to every class I go to. As a beginner in Jiu Jitsu, I can confidently say that the instructors are very personal, and care about the learning process, whether you just started or have been training for 10+ years. From the hobbyist to competitor, I highly encourage anyone interested to take the leap and come train at 570!

I’ve been training under Coach Scott for over 7 years now, and I can honestly say he’s not just one of the best instructors I’ve ever had (and around)—he’s one of the best people I’ve ever met. From day one, Scott’s been welcoming, patient, and passionate about the art of Jiu-Jitsu. He takes time with every student, whether you’re a brand-new white belt or a seasoned competitor. His knowledge is deep, his teaching is clear, and he has a way of breaking things down that makes even the most complex techniques feel simple with repetition. Ontop of that, Scott creates an environment where ego stays at the door and everyone, from hobbyists to serious athletes, can grow. It’s a safe, positive space built on mutual respect, hard work, and real community. The mats have become a second home for me because of what he’s built here.

I started training at 570 a little over a week ago now and it has been great! Walking into it with almost no experience, all of the coaches are extremely helpful and supportive. They provide you with materials you need at the start and the first two weeks are free! Aside from the great coaching, the environment is very accepting. Everyone at the gym is willing to help and give pointers! I highly recommend this gym, whether you are just starting out, or have been in the game for a while!

Ive been at 570 Jiu-jitsu since day 1 of opening. On top of that, I've trained under Coach Diggs, "Scott", since August of 2021. Prior to 570 Jiu-jitsu opening its doors. After almost 5 years of consistent training, theres so many positive things I wish I could convey in this review. Scott is a phenomenal instructor. He doesnt just know the art as an expert. He has unwavering passion for it. On top of that, he is an incredible teacher. He understands solid teaching and demonstration principles. I have been coaching athletes in various forms of fitness and competitive lifting for almost 12 years. From the military, crossfit, strongman, and powerlifting. I can spot a great teacher from miles away. Scott has all of the attributes needed for a top teir coach. When you combine the knowledge of various martial arts, with top level teaching skill, and more importantly passion, you get a top shelf instructor. That is Scott no questions asked. He has assembled a crew of mutliple upper level coaches that can help you at any stage in your journey. From newcomer, to hobbyist, and all the way to world class competitors. You are sure to grow as a practitioner, but more importantly, as a human being. This leads me to my last point. The art of Jiu-jitsu is unlike any other. It teaches you how to persevere, except failure, but also how to accept it and move forward. As you consistently train, it molds you into this confident, peaceful version of yourself that you never knew existed. Your mental health and quality of life will dramatically increase. All while your ability to handle stress in various situations becomes unbreakable. The best decision I've ever made was starting Jiu-jitsu and sticking to it consistently. It will be hard at first to step into this new unknown territory. However, if you consistently attend classes, while applying yourself, you will reap more benefits that you ever thought possible. Come step in and try out the 2 week free trial. If you'd like to talk to me directly, my name is Brandon. I'd be more than happy to meet you. I'm the bald guy covered in tattoos, probably laughing, making jokes about myself, or calling Coach Diggs an "Old Timer" haha. Come introduce yourself, and let us show you this incredible art that has changed our lives.

Kyle Kehoe I've been training at 570 Jiu Jitsu in Williamsport, PA since the gym first opened, and it has been an outstanding experience from day one. Whether you're brand new to Jiu Jitsu or a seasoned competitor, this is the kind of place where you’ll feel right at home. Scott Diggs, the owner and head coach, brings over 20 years of experience to the mats. His knowledge in both Gi and No-Gi is extensive, and he has a real gift for teaching. Scott and his team of coaches are incredibly supportive, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping students grow. What really sets 570 apart is the atmosphere—it's welcoming, respectful, and safe. The environment is ideal for everyone from beginners to advanced practitioners. There’s a strong sense of community here, and the coaching staff does a great job making sure everyone gets the attention they need. Whether you're training for fitness, self-defense, or competition, 570 Jiu Jitsu has the structure, knowledge, and community to help you reach your goals. Highly recommended.
