This martial arts has been such an amazing gift for our daughter’s. The instructor is a huge inspiration to our girls not only does he teach them the fundamentals and the importance of this art but also the responsibility and respect that goes hand to hand with it. They not only focus on the martial arts but also focus on each individual and take time to know each person. They have given my daughter’s the ability and confidence to know that they are capable of defending themselves and teaching them the big responsibility that it comes with. Not only do they help our kids on the mat but off the mat as well. You become a family and not just another person or member. My girls love going. Thank you 5.0 Martial Arts for dedicating your time to teach my daughters.

We love our 5.0 family!! Both my oldest and I have been training here for over a year now. 5.0 has taught us discipline and has help build strong morals for daily life. Very happy with our choice! I saw a promotion on IG for this facility. It was close to home and a great deal, so I purchased a package for the three of us. We try to keep our little one busy because he has too much energy and martial arts was a no brainer. It has been about a month now and he has taken to it so quickly. His improvement is pretty obvious. We love Mr.Bobby because he’s stern, but not mean. Not only are the kids taught a sport, but they are also taught good manners and discipline at the same time. The kids who work along side Mr. Bobby are also really great teachers and very polite. We plan on keeping our son here for the foreseeable future and also plan to start our own classes some time soon!

Mr. Bobby is an amazing teacher. He consistently demonstrates his commitment to teaching through his patience & respect for his students, & especially for my 3 year old who sometimes isn’t the best at focusing. Ms. Mina is also very pleasant in all the interactions we’ve had with her thus far. I would definitely recommend this facility

This a great school for learning martial arts. It is good for both adults, teens, and children. It offers kenpo and judo curriculums. The fellow students are friendly and fun to workout with. I bring my whole family here for their instruction. Mr Bobby has been a great help in teaching my children self defense and a great deal of self discipline.

This place is amazing! We bring our special needs 9yr old (closer to 5 in development) and Mr Bobby does a wonderful job encouraging, adapting and being a positive teacher while still maintaining discipline. Kids learn, have fun, and gain martial arts skills. His black belt assistants are also awesome!

Took adult Kenpo and Judo. The classes are fun, engaging. Judo was a better overall workout and super small group so concentrated attention. It’s a family operation so it feels very familiar and everyone is super friendly!

Great studio for Martial arts. Mr. Sotomayor is a wonderful teacher and cares about his students. In the short time I have been studying at the studio I have already learned a lot and feel in much better shape. It's amazing I love it and its great. I had my 2 daughters enrolled for the 2 week program it was worth it . We came in my daughters loved it. After that, I sign both of my daughters.One 5 years old and 8 year old. For a personal reason my 5 year old daughter took a break on Karate due to a family member loss. In the other end my 8 year old daughter, Karate Kenpo its helping her forget about what happend in 2020. Karate keeps her busy and her mind healthy away from Video games, tik tok and all social media. ( As a parent dont let her use social media) Encourage your kids to come ,take them out of the bubble life. 5.0 Elvoved Martial Arts is the place to learn Karate. My Daughter just finish her 1st Month. As a Parent my Daughter is doing amazing job & She loves it. THANK YOU MR.BOBBY AND MRS. MINA .

Mr. Bob connects with all the kids, he is kind, easy to talk to and the kids respect him. I can't wait to see how much my child will grow over the next year here!

My son has been going here for over two years it's a really great place they teach more than just karate the instructors are awesome with the kids, this is the best place for the best price they also take measures to make you feel comfortable and safe like cleaning off the mat each class using hand sanitizer and always wearing face mask and taking temperature at the door and this place has been more than just a place of business there are extended family they are always helpful friendly and willing to help you with whatever to make your kids try their very best. My son love this place and has helped him in so many way and every one that worker's there are so amazing and out of 4 place I looked at and went to this is the the best one with great prices and great teacher he really good with kids

It is such a welcoming family friendly environment. Mr Bob is such a blessing for the kids he is an excellent person/teacher! I know we will be coming here for years to come!!! I believe that it takes a village to raise a child and I'm so thankful to have found 5.0 Evolved Martial Arts Redlands to add to our village for my son. My son is 7 and loving their Kenpo Karate classes. He takes 2 classes weekly and works on character building missions throughout the month at home. This month is Pay it Forward. The school aged students also do a daily check list, which they turn in to their Sensei. The list and accountability have been great tools for encouraging independence, helpfulness around the house, doing his best in school, etc. The business is ran by 1 very nice family and the Sensei is amazing with the students and with their training. He treats them with such respect, care, confidence and you can really tell he loves what he does. Classes are very focused and a person can start at any level and develop their skills. The Sensei and the program are definitely impacting my son and our family in a strong way. They offer a trial for 2 weeks of classes for about $14 and it is so worth it to get in their gym/dojo and see what they have to offer. I liked getting to do the trial first because our family didn't have any experience with Karate and we didn't know if our son would like it. He loves it and wishes he could go every day. Also, they are taking extra precautions due to covid and we feel very comfortable doing in person classes. You can participate online if in person is not for you at the moment. They do temperature checks, students are spaced out, sanitize the floor/equipment between classes, limit to one parent watching for now, sanitize the parent seats between classes and the adults all wear masks.

Instructor Robert Sotomayor is a phenomenal teacher, as well as staff at the Redlands school. His patience and guidance have made a positive impact on our child. We are grateful that there are still martial arts schools around that teach youngsters beyond how to fight. Teaching kids respect, self-control, compassion and instilling good core values makes Jeff Speakman's Kenpo school a really great choice for any parent.

My kids were experiencing some bullying at school and I wanted to make sure they had the self-confidence and the skills to defend themselves. Mr Bobby and Mr Cody are awesome instructors. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, patient and can be strict when needed. I love the way Mr Bobby motivates and teaches the children good old fashion respect. My kids have grown so much in skills and character.

We recently got the diagnosis my son suffers from ADD, has a very hard time focusing and retaining information. We have been going to 5.0 for about 8 months now and my son loves it and all of the fun activities they do! It’s very clean, everyone is super friendly and the instructors are great with the kids, very understanding of my son; which is something i am so grateful for! Thanks Ms. Mina, Mr. Bobby & Mr. Cody!!

Mr. Sotomayor and Mr. Cody really care about those they are teaching. My daughter and I have been training here since they opened here in Redlands and we absolutely love it. Getting ready to test for our Orange belts and one day we will test here for our black belts. Family oriented, great teachers, and an awesome curriculum. I have black belts in Kung Fu and have trained for a long time so when I recommend this school for any kids or adults wanting to get in shape, gain confidence, or learn to defend themselves, believe me, you will get all of that here.

Highly recommend,the place is nice and clean and they have an area for the parents to sit and watch. My girls have been going here for about 2 months already and they love it. They look forward to their classes and i like that they also give them “homework” to do at home. It’s not hard either its more about behaving and using their manners and they make sure they do it in order to earn their stripes.

Y’all don’t know how excited we are for Mr. Bobby Sotomayor who is the owner and operator of 5.0 Evolved Martial Arts Redlands!! Mr. Sotomayor has been training Sione Koloamatangi the past 2 years since he has started learning Kenpo 5.0. We are ecstatic Sione will continue his training with Mr. Sotomayor once we move down the hill in a year or 2. Mr. Sotomayor is an incredible instructor, I didn’t think Sione could handle his classes at first but Mr. Sotomayor pushes Sione beyond his limits so he can be his best self and he takes the time to teach him! Parents and students will love this school just as much as we love attending his classes and learning from him! Sione has become a better football player and Jiu-Jitsu student because of Mr. Sotomayor!

Me encanta 😍!! No solo enseñan defensa personal sino como detener a los bullies sin llegar a peleas a tener confianza , disciplina y control En cualquier situación . Mi hijo además está aprendiendo con el ejemplo q ellos le imparten en cada clase jajajja estaba tan feliz de verlos con si Pink belt en apollo contra el cancer de mamas y con todo orgullo les cuenta a la gente de las donaciones q hacen en su escuela de karate 🥋 estoy súper feliz con esta escuela y sus profesores 😊
