Just finished a great class. These folks are humble and really good. The epitimize the phrase "it's better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war" thier demeanor is down to earth and they are there to teach you. Not beat you. I'm definitely going back!

Excellent gym with friendly and knowledgeable coaches. I was given a warm welcome upon entering. Nice clean environment. Friendly people in the classes, no egos. High level teaching given in an easy to understand manner. Highly recommend.

The coaches are all so nice and professional! They describe everything thoroughly and help me adjust to get the holds right! They really care about the people, the technique, the space, and teaching so well! I have fun, feel stronger, and my son loves it too!! I highly recommend you give it a try and you will love it!!

I have trained at several places over the last 3 decades and Double Five is my favorite. The depth of knowledge that the instructors have is phenomenal, the way they teach is very practical, the training is hard but the students look out for each other, and the atmosphere is great. Easily the best place I have trained.

Best gym I’ve ever been in. Dylan, Tanner, and Westin are the greatest coaches for bjj and wrestling. Everyone in there are really nice. 10/10 gym I recommend this gym to everyone who wants to wrestle or do bjj.

Popped in randomly to the 6:15 pm no gi class on Tuesday. Dylan and Tanner were more than welcoming and are great at simply explaining concepts. I’ll be back for the Friday and Saturday open classes

A great set of high quality fighters, beautiful mats, and a structured yet free flowing learning environment. I would highly recommend to jujiteros of all levels (especially if you're serious about improvement)!

This gym has highly intelligent coaching from Westin, Victor, Dylan, and Tanner along with great culture. Easily one of the best gyms in dfw to train at whether you want to compete or do it for fun. Just show up for a week and at the very least you’ll make a few friends.

Double Five Mid Cities is a great gym to join if you're looking for martial arts training, like jiu jitsu and muay thai. The coaches are very knowledgeable, and most importantly they are patient. When you stop in for a class you'll also notice the other students are friendly and helpful. Very clean gym!

Dropped in here to train and it was a great experience. All of the coaches were very knowledgeable and they were able to explain techniques very well so that we understood them completely. The gym had a great environment too, everyone was super friendly which made me feel comfortable being a new face. Also, the gym was very clean. Overall great experience and I would recommend this gym to anyone.

I have absolutely loved my time at Double Five Mid Cities! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new gym to train and am so glad to have found a gym like this. The coaches are amazing. The environment is great for both women and men. It did not take long to get warmed up to the folks and feel like family!

Very well rounded and friendly gym. It has good experience for both beginners and experienced martial artists. Also everyone is very welcoming and nice. But they still try and hold you to a higher standard to improve yourself. Great time all around!

Can't say enough about all the great experiences and opportunities this place has to offer. If you are a beginner, as soon as one of the instructors break it down and explain the mechanics of the move you are working on, you will be instantly hooked. If you are an experienced practitioner, you will have a buffet of styles to choose from along with competitors you can exchange details with to benefit your growth in the sport. The kids class is so engaging and they have a blast when Tanner participates with them. It's always a great time in all the classes. The environment is definitely one of a kind. This is definitely gym you search for.

I moved to Dallas from Lubbock Texas a few months back! In the short time I’ve been here I have nothing but positive things to say. There’s so many gyms in the Dallas area, but I can confidently say that this gym is one of the best! The coaches care deeply for the sport and within my first week I immediately felt like family, they work with you individually, and have built an incredible team environment! Starting out as someone who used to wrestle In high school this place brings back the nostalgia! Hard intense workouts all while bonding and growing each other! New owners took over recently and the vibes aren’t the only thing that’s great the prices are pretty preem too! Definitely ask for Tanner and Dylan they know what’s going on!

I’ve been going here for a few months and with the new owners Tanner and Dylan are great at explaining all the basics and even more detailed maneuvers! The environment is super welcoming and has some world class rollers there! My amazing boyfriend put me on here and it’s the best place I’ve found in the Dfw area!

Everything you expect from a professional gym ~ Attending the grappling classes currently and Tanner makes it clear on the how and why of the drills along with plenty of live sparring and makes sure we get it down in a curriculum based manner over the week. Spoke with both coaches and they’re very down to earth cool people to get along with as well as willing to assist in any questions or concerns. 💯
