Binding Arts is an exceptional gym for both kids and adults. Both Stephen and Billy are great professors who push us to better ourselves and children. I have 3 kids in Jiu jitsu so far and they love it. My 2 eldest have done competitions already and love how confident they have become since joining Binding Arts. Their adult classes can work for any adult because they have early morning or late evenings. My kids have fun while learning moves and are always excited to show me the moves they learn on me and husband. Their schedule can fit most parents because its after school for kids varying their age or experience. There is jiu jitsu certain days and the other days they have fitness classes to keep them focused and build confidence in their body and health. I know after trying them out for yourself or your kids you will sign up.
I've had a fantastic experience at this jujitsu gym! I attended my first women's self-defense class here and felt empowered and supported. Stephen is incredibly welcoming and makes everyone feel right at home. HIGHLY recommend!
I absolutely recommend this gym! From the second I walked into BJJ I felt welcomed and motivated to start my journey in a world I know very little about. Stephen Dobbins, owner and one of the head instructors started me in a woman’s self defense class. I have never left a gym feeling so empowered and confident in the new skills and tactics I learned. His ways of teaching/coaching along with a great sense of humor allowed me to feel comfortable and really perfect the basic fundamental moves I would use when and if I ever needed to protect myself. I left being able to execute numerous techniques and defense mechanisms I never thought I physically could do. Stephen is extremely knowledgeable and experienced within the BJJ world and personally has studied/competed in Jiu Jitsu for over a decade.
This gym offers classes for all age groups over 3 years old, along with offering a plethora of other classes such as kids basic Jiu Jitsu, anti bullying classes, women’s self defense classes, and teen/adult Jiu Jitsu classes.
I highly recommend trying this gym to allow yourself to grow, learn, and push yourself to limits you never thought possible. Learn to protect yourself in this world, while training within a great environment surrounded by positive energy and an incredible staff/community.

Just a great group of guys doing solid work. I had such a great time rolling with these gentlemen. You can tell they’re being taught some great techniques and being held to high standard here. I look forward to training with you guys again.

Elite coaching for all skill levels! Whether you’re a hobbyist or competitor in the sport, there is a spot for you at Binding Arts. The room is always filled with solid, skillful individuals to work with and learn from. The coaches provide excellent situational training and great progressions to your jiu jitsu skills. Great attention to detail to really perfect each move for flawless jiu jujitsu. There is a wide variety of skill levels in the room so whether you are brand new to jiu jitsu or have 20+ years of experience in the sport, there is someone for you to work with. Upper rank belts also do a great job at working with lower ranks and provide a safe and comforting environment, especially for females! They also have a variety of class times (AM and PM) as well as a kids program so you are guaranteed to find something that works for you!
Awesome Academy. I really love the instruction and curriculum that Professor Dobbins teaches. I feel my grappling has improved after every class I attend.
