Coach Mike is an expert in jiujitsu and teaching children. Before coming to BTT Palencia, we toured several studios nearby and finally enrolled here. We are grateful for the rigorous and fun training. We are treated like family by coaches and other members. This is a life changing experience for us, physically and mentally. Look no further if you are looking for a studio for your child or yourself. This is the place for YOU!
Coach Mike and his team really help these kids learn and grow in Jiu Jitsu. He has a strong desire for respect from the kids, which is an amazing thing. We’ve only been coming for a short while but I am happy to see my kids learning and am hopeful it does wonders for their physical and mental abilities in their future.
We searched far and wide for a studio before settling in with BTT Palencia. Our son has been training with Coach Mike for over a year now. He absolutely loves Coach Mike’s approach, the amazing environment and supportive peers there, so much so that he goes there six times a week.
This is the best, most family friendly gym I have ever had the privilege of sending my children to. Coach Mike is fantastic at pulling out the very best in my sons. They have grown in every way under his tutelage. Physically they are getting stronger, faster and more balanced; mentally they are far more disciplined and respectful of themselves and others. Even my husband is putting in time on the mats and it shows. If you are looking for a great place to learn a new skill, burn a few calories, or train with the best, look no further. I cannot say enough about BTT Palencia and the whole team.

I have been taking two of my boys for two years this October and we are happy with our experiences thus far. Non-intimidating atmosphere makes it easy for kids to learn. The older kids also get opportunities to teach the younger kids, this only adds to their character development. My sons are more confident in themselves and are improving in how they react/respond to challenges they may face with their peers or different environments. Coach Mike and the other instructors are easy to approach as a student and parent.
Amazing Brazilian Jui Jitsu studio. My son is 10 and enjoys this so much. Coach Mike and all the coaches are attentive and great with the younger students. My son looks forward to going and has fun while there. Highly recommend.
I can't say enough good things about BTT Palencia. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I had found something special. The instructors here are not only highly skilled but also incredibly dedicated to their students' progress.

Coach Mike not only is an excellent Martial Artist, but is superb at teaching kids. He is very strong at teaching techniques to the kids and also incredibly patient and encouraging to them.
This is an awesome school! Our kids have been here for over a year now and they absolutely love it. Coach Mike is great with kids and has established a very family-oriented environment. Would highly recommend.
Great school, awesome coach /owner! Coach Mike is dedicated to his students learning, as well as safety. You can tell he truly cares about his kids and he is an overall great guy. He also knows his stuff!! He also offers both kids and adult classes. Open nearly every day of the week, no contract, you can pay monthly and go to class as much as you possibly can (almost every day) or if you have a busy week or are involved in other after school sports or hobbies, you can choose to go once or twice a week. Super flexible! I can't recommend this place enough!!!

Top notch training and a friendly atmosphere. Training for competition, self defense or fitness does not matter, it is all accommodated. It's well worth it.
