Out of town working for a week, wanted to find somewhere to get some training in. And boy did I choose well. Great group of guys, led by a great instructor. Very welcoming. I will definitely be going back next time I'm out in Aberdeen.

This place is so awesome i love just coming here rolling and getting a good workout, and it doesn’t feel like it’s a workout at all. Also feeling more confident to defend myself really helps my confidence

Amazing gym and full of great people. I’ve learned so much training here and, more importantly, met some amazing people. It is truly an amazing community that I can’t imagine missing out on. If your thinking about it, just join!

Absolutely amazing place. The atmosphere is incredible, Everyone helps everyone become better. My son and I felt welcome from the first time we walked through the door as complete novices. You won't find someone with more passion for what they do than Derek! Keep it up guys!

Watch out who you pick a fight with in Aberdeen South Dakota, it may be a small town but there are some serious killers coming out of this little gym on the plains that can out-class several big city teams.

Great place. I’ve been out there from Minneapolis a couple times now to teach. It’s a great atmosphere, and an awesome team that is always helping each other. Derek is a great guy, that brings that family vibe into the gym instead of just a place to train. Highly recommend this place when you’re in Aberdeen! Hub City MMA & BJJ is the place to go in Aberdeen South Dakota if you are interested in strengthening your self-defense skills or are planning on competing for sport. Whether it's kickboxing, BJJ, or MMA, Derek has you covered. Private lessons are also offered. Given the fact that loaner equipment is also provided upon startup, there is no excuse not to atleast try it out.
