  We did a drop in class Friday. We were met and greeted at the door by the owner Robert Drysdale. He welcomed us into his gym and gave us on overview about the class our daughter was there for. Robert was also the one teaching this class. We were very impressed with his attention to detail and his methods of training. The interaction with the students and making sure he walked to mat to make sure all students understood and were performing the move correctly.   Coach Robert Drysdale is not only one of the greatest BJJ/grappling Champions, undefeated MMA fighter, but even greater coach, which is a very rare combination together. He having trained many BJJ and MMA champions, UFC Hall of fame Legends for decades... He extremely loves and obsessed to Martial Arts and to pass his knowledge towards his students from little kids to the highest levels of competitors, teaching not only the techniques and the physical aspects of the Martial Arts, but feeding the soul and mind with human values like discipline, dignity, respect, determination to have goals and challenges to fighting for persistently in our lives to become stronger in body and soul, a better version of ourselves day by day...   From day one to a year later, every time I walk in the door I’m greeted and welcomed. The staff and coaches really make you feel at home and comfortable. Coach Robert is fantastic at teaching striking—he is patient, knowledgeable, and knows exactly how to motivate the kids while making it fun. When it comes to Jiu-Jitsu, Salua is simply the best! She has an incredible way of connecting with the children, making them feel confident and excited to learn. What I love most about Zenith is the family atmosphere.   The community that I found at zenith I haven’t seen since I was a kid, something that I might’ve thought was lost. They welcomed My family and I with open arms. Coach Salua has been especially great for teaching my son and caring about him and showing him love at the same time like a true person would do And that’s all I’ve seen with the People at zenith. Watching my son, overcome fears and struggles throughout the process of jujutsu has been the Most rewarding thing I think I have ever experienced. Zenith had a big part in that.

  Coach Drysdale is by far the best teacher I’ve ever had and it’s not close.. every move and sequence he teaches, I pick up instantly.   Zenith by Robert Drysdale has been the best experience for my 2 boys, I went to 4 different Jiujitsu gyms in search for the perfect fit for my wild boys to start training and none of them were right for us. I love the structure and the coaching styles they get from this gym and everyone was so welcoming, my boys have made so many friends and already love the tournament life. My boys have learned so much and their confidence has grown, we love this gym.

  Zenith jiu-jitsu is the best gym in the city and potentially the single best gym in the world for jiu-jitsu. The atmosphere is very welcoming and makes you feel like family to the point where all my friends in Vegas I met through Zenith and the coaches are amazing. I have trained at many gyms and the skill level at Zenith doesn't compare to many other places (and the places that do compare don't have homegrown talent and instead recruit people who are already good at jiu-jitsu) when zenith competes they always dominate a good example is in the 2024 ibjjf no-gi worlds this gym brought 12 athletes and won 6 gold medals 1 silver and 3 bronze that win rate/podium rate is unheard of. The kid's program is awesome as well with kids who compete getting gold metals more often than not. I remember when I first came to Zenith 3 years ago my jiu-jitsu was pretty bad I had just gotten my blue belt and just moved to Vegas, after trying out a couple of gyms I decided to go with Zenith and knew this was the right gym after my first class here and under Robert Drysdale’s coaching I went from losing in competition to a teenage girl who was 30 lbs lighter than me to winning comps consistently even against men who are 20 lbs heavier than me. This gym has white belts who have trained for only one year and can beat some gym's purple and brown belts if that's not a testament to the ability of the coaching staff as well as the high-skill environment of Zenith then I don't know what is.

  ZENITH by Robert Drysdale has been truly life-changing for my son and our family. Since joining, he has gained so much confidence, lost weight, and developed a sense of grace—both in victory and defeat. The coaches have taught him how to be a great training partner, support the younger kids, and truly embody the values of jiu-jitsu both on and off the mat. The community at ZENITH is something special; it feels like family from the moment you walk in. As a parent, I have even started training myself, and I love that I can take classes alongside my son. It gives us quality time together while both of us continue to grow and challenge ourselves. Thanks to this gym, my son is now a gold medalist, but more importantly, he is becoming an amazing person.   My spouse and I came to Zennith during our vacation to Las Vegas. This gym is spectacular! We got to have class with Robert Drysdale in person and he definitely lives up to his reputation. He is a stellar instructor that takes the time to make sure everyone is on the right page with what he is teaching. He takes the time to remember vistiors names and to check in on them throughout the class. He's super friendly and even invited us to his house for his Watch Party for ADCC. He is very pro PD and was kind enough to help advertise my spouses Fire & Police Jui-Jitsu tournament. The staff is friendly, the gym is welcoming and family friendly as a whole. The techniques we learned here in just a week helped level up our Jui-Jitsu. We love this place and will be back. I highly reccomended this place! Don't hesitate to come!

  I moved back to Las Vegas looking for a new gym to train at and when I had my first trial day at Zenith, I knew that this is where I’d want to be. Coach Rob and all of the Zenith coaches are highly knowledgeable, supportive, and push you to your limits. The team is tough and competitive but welcoming and down to earth as well.   My son and I visited Zenith BJJ during our vacation in Las Vegas. Our first experience training at Zenith BJJ was phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, we felt incredibly welcomed by both the staff and fellow trainees. Actually, even before we came to the gym, Faith has been very helpful with answering my questions through text messages. :) As we walked in, Mr. Robert Drysdale introduced himself and welcome us. The environment is friendly and inclusive, making it easy for a newcomer like us to feel comfortable. Mr. Drysdale is outstanding—clearly very knowledgeable and skilled in Jiu Jitsu. He provided clear and detailed instruction, breaking down each technique step by step. The drills were well-structured and challenging, yet accessible for beginners. Everyone I met was extremely helpful and encouraging. My training partners (Heather, Mina, Scoddy,and Laura) were patient and helpful making the learning process enjoyable and collaborative. Maria, (I believe one of the instructors there) helped me with techniques and offered great tips. My son enjoyed his time rolling with his team as well. Overall, we had a blast and we’re looking forward to our next class tonight. And we will definitely train here every time we are in town. Highly recommend Zenith BJJ by Robert Drysdale to anyone interested in learning Jiu Jitsu either you are visiting or live in LV.

Robert Drysdale is very detailed oriented and focuses on techniques that work, gimmicky youtube moves need not apply.   I would definitely recommend giving this gym a try. They give you a 3 day trial in case it’s not your thing. And I’ve learned a ton of cool moves at this gym Edit: I’ve been here since 2022 and i still love it. I have done a lot of their striking classes where they teach you kickboxing techniques and other self defense combos. I do both of the striking classes and the no gi classes and I love them both.

  My son was recommended this gym through a family member. They offered a 3 day free trial so we decided to check it out. After the very first class we were positive this was going to be our new gym. Just the overall atmosphere is a win. Everyone here is friendly and encouraging. The coaches really take their time to work with everyone and make sure everyone understands what’s going on. There are multiple black belt coaches here working with the adults and kids which is awesome. They’re learning from the best!

  Really happy with this gym! My grandson has been coming here and has improved so much. They really work hard on their cardio and train hard. The coaches are paying attention to every child, even with large classes, to make sure they’re all on the same page.

  Excellent environment to train Martial Arts. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. There are high level athletes training full time for events and people with jobs and family making it a couple times a week. Going on 10 years here, and my kids also train here. Great kids class for striking and grappling.

  This is a great academy. Most of the classes are taught by Robert Drysdale himself and the instruction is top-notch. The academy is intense, people go pretty hard -- you will be rolling with people who are literally trying to win worlds, and some who have done that already.

  I’m brand new to combat sports at 37 years old/young. I’ve been here for a few months now and Zenith and Robert Drysdale have been great. Welcomed me into the family, the training and the team have been fantastic. They offer 6am, 10:30am, 4:30pm, 5:30pm classes so a time for everyone.

  This review is long overdue given that I’ve been training here for nearly 10 years. Rob is hands down one of the most technical and superb instructors of BJJ in the sport. It is clear why he continues to produce world champions, corners some of the most accomplished MMA athletes, and arguably has the winningest team in Nevada. Fun fact: a significant number of other BJJ instructors at other gyms in Las Vegas can directly trace their lineage to Drysdale (IYKYK). Whether you’re interested in self defense, a new fitness regimen, or interested in leveling up your “game,” this is the place to train.

  My jiu jitsu journey started 18 years ago in Colorado, at age 11. After a few years, I had become so passionate about the sport that I knew deep down this had to become my career in some form; it was my one true passion. What I did not know was exactly where and how this would happen. I worked several jobs that all poked at the periphery of jiu-jitsu, for the most part in the worlds of security and personal training/fitness. They were rewarding to various degrees, but they were always primarily means to an end — that end being the continuation of my jiu-jitsu journey. While working these jobs, I was able to save up enough to open my own gym in Colorado. Initially just out on our own, we eventually decided to become an affiliate school of Team Zenith. We chose it honestly not knowing too much about the team other than that at its head was Robert Drysdale, one of only three Americans at that point in time to ever have won the absolutes division of the prestigious ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship. Little did I know that this choice would plot the course for the rest of my career! While a Zenith affiliate school, I was constantly impressed by Robert. The more I learned about the team and him as an individual, the better. He would visit our school and give inspiring, informative seminars. As soon as he walked through the door for the seminar, he shook hands and got to know every person in the room, whether or not they trained jiu jitsu; I couldn’t believe a competitor at his level took the time to do that (from comparing to past experiences with top-tier jiu jitsu athletes). I knew with his level of expertise and his character, this was who I was supposed to be training under, who my jiu jitsu journey was leading me to. I would visit the Zenith headquarters in Vegas, and I would find not only Robert himself but a large, inviting, yet challenging community of jiu-jitsu practitioners that I longed to be a part of. After a few years of these visits back and forth, we knew this was where we belonged. In December 2022, we moved to Las Vegas to make this incredible gym part of our daily existence, instead of just an occasional treat. I now train there as much as possible, getting great rolls with top-tier grapplers on a daily bass and instruction from Robert himself, widely regarded as one of the best grapplers of all time. I have already been able to compete extensively in the vibrant Las Vegas jiu-jitsu scene and have felt fully supported by Robert and my awesome team at every turn, in a way I never had before. I also coach in the kids’ program at headquarters, which my son has become part of. Yes as a coach I am biased towards our program, but as a parent I could not be more critical, and I can honestly say there is nowhere else I’d rather my son train. He has easily made friends in this amicable environment, where they can roll against one another at 100% intensity but also be respectful partners, understanding even at a young age that this is all just part of training, and the second the buzzer rings, the kids laugh together or excitedly share their new favorite flavor of bubblegum. My husband, son, and I all agree that moving to Las Vegas was the best decision we could have made for our family, and it was all because of Robert and what he created at this fabulous gym. I am proud to be a part of it and would recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing jiu jitsu, from a first-day white belt to a top-tier competitor!

  Place is not the same anymore. Lots of guest intructor. The gym moved and the new place has no showers, bad parking and prices keep going up. Now my membership expires soon. Looking for new gym in Henderson.
