Awesome, down-to-earth people and great training. Owen and Amy are fantastic. Always helpful and open to answer questions, and Owen focuses on the small details of techniques that really bring things together. Would recommend to anyone.

I’ve trained in many gyms worldwide, and this one is outstanding. Super clean mats, friendly people, and a great learning environment. The classes are technical and detailed, exactly what I look for as a brown belt. Highly recommend!

My son dropped in on a no gi class while we are on vacation. Let me tell you....this place is a top notch BJJ school/gym. Coach Owen and all the guys were very welcoming and my son got some high level rolling. Will definitely stop by here again next time we're in Bryant, Arkansas. Amy, the office manager and jiu jitsu practitioner, was also amazing. Glad we stopped by!

Westside Bryant has been an absolutely wonderful experience. Since my last BJJ school closed down, I’ve been a bit of a BJJ hobo wandering in and out of several gyms. Owen, TJ, Amy, and all of their people have been super welcoming. Excellent vibes, great rolls, very solid place to train. Very glad to have found a new home gym.

Got a chance to train at this location today and wow what an experience. One of the most friendly places I have ever visited. Everyone was welcoming, the culture in this gym is second to none. The instructor was fantastic and the class has multiple black belts there to help too. This gym is like a home away from home. If you are in the Little Rock/ Bryant area you won’t find a better place. Mats were very clean, bathroom was clean, the lobby area was clean and welcoming. I walked in on a packed kids class and the parents had a ton of space to sit and watch. I will definitely be back here every time I visit this area!

If you ever even thought about it, you owe to yourself to at least try it out. The whole Westside BJJ group treats each other like family and I expect nothing less here at the one in Bryant. Even us old guys fit in.

If you're looking for a place to train BJJ and in the Benton area you can't go wrong choosing this as your gym. Adults have a great community and challenging rolls no matter your skill level. Kids have one of the best instructors in the game. TJ is a major reason my kid started and still loves BJJ.

This is a great gym! This gym has top-notch teachers, has a great kids program, is a beautiful, clean space to practice, and has some very impressive students! Whether you’re looking to compete and get tough rounds or study at a relaxed pace, this a great gym for any type of student!

TJ is a great kids instructor! He's taught our kids for years and always has a great attitude and patience with the kids. The facility is great! Lots of space for practitioners and observers alike!

This is a family friendly comfortable gym to walk into that does not fit the stereotype of a combative gym though the head instructor and his students with more experience do have something to teach you. The coaching involves teaching body awareness and moves that apply to real life situations, which enhance your ability to defend yourself. Ages as young as 5 or as old as 75+ could join. Coaches and ordinary folks attending the gym strive to better each other no matter what their skill level is, whether brand new or experienced. If you’re not sure just walk in and watch a class. You’ll be welcomed at the door with a genuine smile. While the room smells like sweat and hard work, you can see training partners roll and work through their techniques. When the timer hits zero then the training partners shake hands, give big hugs, and smile at each other after a good roll on the mat. This is a new gym with brand new people along with a mixture of experienced folks. Man woman and children alike can benefit from this gym by learning a skill, becoming mentally and physically stronger, and all being part of a team environment with great support.

The owners and coaches here are super solid people. Highly recommend this gym for anyone, but especially for a beginner That is looking for the proper guidance and path for Brazilian jujitsu. I have trained with the Westside family for half of my life and wouldn’t have it any other way.

My son started training Jiu-jitsu at westside Bryant on the first day they opened. Having never taken Jiu-jitsu before he was somewhat nervous for his first class. That nervous quickly disappeared thanks to the awesome staff, coaches and teammates at westside Bryant. From the very first class he has learned real Jiu-jitsu techniques. This is no glorified babysitting service, but a legit jiujitsu school. I would not hesitate to recommend this school to anyone interested in Brazilian jujitsu.
