  Great jiu-jitsu dojo and coach! Keep reading to know why. I do jiu-jitsu for 3 years and joined Visam several months ago. Well, I learned so much within just first month... This dojo focuses a lot on understanding jiu jitsu, beyond just fighting and learning techniques. Proper posture, working with your allignement and structure and much much more. It's less punishing, then traditional dojo's so would be a great entry for new white belt students and it has enough challenge for upper levels. (Being a blue belt myself, I had a lot of fun a sparring with everyone in the dojo and being challenged a lot). Ritchy is very attentive, detail oriented, organized and inspiring coach! This dojo have very flexible monetary policy: you can pause any time (just inform the administrator), choose the number of dates you want to attend, e.t.c. They have a flexible and intuitive app for that. My kid is a student here since 2021. Always having a blast! Wish every dojo was like this.

  Visam is a great place for all skill levels to train, both for adults and children. The owner, Ritchy is an excellent teacher and he has a great passion for martial arts. I would highly recommend this dojo for anyone looking to begin their martial arts journey. 1-2-3 VISAM!

  Great school with very welcoming atmosphere for anyone from beginners to more advanced students. The owner Ritchy Kahale is technically solid, very patient and ensures that all students feel at ease and make continued progress. I look forward to every class and always have great time all the while learning new techniques and getting in a good workout.

  I highly recommend this kung-fu academy. My young son has been going here for a while and loves it, it's amazing to see his confidence, and discipline grow. Not to mention the improvements in his athletic abilities at such a young age. Ritchie and his amazing staff really work well with the kids and take the time to help them develop all the important skills that will help them in life, and it's all done in a fun and interesting way that keeps the young kids focused. The gym is nice and clean, and safe. Plus a bonus for my son is the trainers are all bilingual so he feels comfortable as my son isn't bilingual yet but is learning. Again I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn a great martial art while having fun, in a safe and friendly environment.
