  As a visiting black belt from Canada I had a great time dropping in at Vantage during the week I was in Sydney. Adam is a great coach and BJJ practitioner. Although I didn't get a chance to roll at other gyms nearby, it's hard to imagine there being any black belts in Bondi as skilled as Adam. He knows his stuff and has a great crew of people to train with!

  I joined alliance about a year ago and have all 3 of my kids going to the classes also. Such a great gym. Adam is an amazing instructor and the kids love the classes with Aaron. Culture is lots of fun with a wide range of experience and ages. There are heaps of classes on so plenty of opportunities to get as much training in as possible regardless of time commitments. If you’re contemplating BJJ do yourself a favour and drop in for a trial class. You won’t look back.

  I have yet to visit the gym (and once I visit it, I will update my review), but I know Adam, the owner and head instructor, personally, and I've trained with him in Vancouver, Canada, and visited him to train together when he was a blue belt at Alliance in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Aside from his amazing jiu-jitsu knowledge, skills, and an exceptional ability to teach, Adam is just a real great person. If I had to recommend a gym in the Sydney area where people could feel safe while legitimate knowledge and training, I would look no further. It's a gym where you would feel safe sending your kids as Adam is one of the most disciplined and good-hearted person you would want your kids to learn from. Having directly learned and received his black belt from Fabio Grugel, Adam will provide you with the best jiu-jitsu instructions in the area without a doubt. You won't regret it!

  Amazing gym culture and training. Learning from Adam is learning from the best. He constantly does whatever he can to provide the best for his students and always goes above and beyond. The culture at Alliance Sydney has a family vibe feel about it. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming.

  Big shout out to Adam. Been training in Jiu Jitsu for many years and decided to also do private lessons with Adam. Been exactly 2 years since I started these private lessons. His knowledge, expertise and teaching skills are incredible. From the little movements to the bigger picture of fundamentals, these have all been major game changers and my game has improved tremendously. Can't wait to see what the years ahead do as we progress on.... Can highly recommend private lessons with Adam.
