I’ve been coming to the Cave for a little under a year now, and I love it! The owners, Connor and Jenni, are both wonderful teachers and make the gym feel so welcoming! For someone who has never done any sort of combat sport before, they’ve been so helpful, supportive, and made jiu jitsu much less intimidating! The environment at the Cave among all the other members is the best, and I’ve met some great friends and training partners! Don’t hesitate to reach out to them and see what your missing at The Cave!

Connor and Jenn are the best coaches around. You will take your skills to the next level once you come here and train high level material. One of the cleanest gyms I’ve seen in a long time as well. Great spot for women athletes in my opinion. The general manager, Oliver is really nice too.

I been training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu for over 8 years. I've been around many schools, practitioners and instructors. Connor is a great teacher, he is humble, and his details has made me better. After cross training there for a bit, I decided to become a permanent member of the club. Great environment and training partners!
Connor is a phenomenal instructor. Clean space, good vibes. Having trained in several different states and quite a few gyms, I can confidently say The Cave is a great environment to learn BJJ, whether you're new to the sport, more advanced, hobbyist, or competitor. The culture of the gym created a relaxed and friendly environment that also allowed for some competitive rounds for those seeking a bit more intensity. Highly recommend dropping in and checking it out.
A much needed Brazilian Jiujitsu school in this underserved area in NJ! Professor Connor has a very clear way of explaining techniques and is experienced in teaching kids and adults. He’s patient and has a vast knowledge as a wrestler and a BJJ black belt. His style is all encompassing. Therefore he teaches wrestling takedowns, judo takedowns and ground work with ease! Professor Jenn is one of the most competitive females in the area and is also an amazing teacher. If you find your way to Cave Grappling you’re in great hands!

Coach Dixon is a great competitor and a passionate coach. You can tell his love for the art and his students when you attend his class. The facility is spotless and the instruction is well organized with a systems approach model in mind. The training is safe and everyone at the gym was friendly and helpful. I can't say enough great things about this gym!
I've trained under, and known Connor for years. He's taught my children, myself, and my husband. He's an incredible teacher, very patient and kind with the kids and they just love him. He's equally as patient with adults new and seasoned. If you have the opportunity to train with Connor, I promise you won't regret it and you will absolutely learn more than you even thought you could and enjoy every moment of it.
I’ve known Connor a long time, and I took countless private classes with him to prepare for my tournaments. He is the real deal and you will learn a lot from him. He has been doing this since he was four years old I believe. There are a lot of bad instructors out there in this area and I don’t want to name names..
