Had the honor of being able to attend two classes while on a work trip and have to say this gym is awesome. Gym culture, atmosphere, and people are incredible and truly the best part of the town itself. The coach is passionate about his teachings and the fellow students are so welcoming and kind. If you’re new to the area I strongly recommend going here.

I can’t recommend this gym family enough. As a woman in my 40’s I was terrified to walk through the door. The professors are knowledgeable, kind, professional and everyone is included on the mats. The more I learn and out Brazilian Jiujitsu, (on and off the mat) the better my life gets. No joke. Hunter and Lauren and all of the professors make it a point to maintain a safe, collaborative, and fun learning environment that actually teaches you skills that not only will help you defend yourself, but also build your character. I love this place and I feel lucky to be a part of it. Like someone told me, if you’re curious, the hardest part is walking through the door. ;)

Telos Martial Arts is a fantastic place to train and learn from one of the best instructors here in the coastal bend in Jujitsu. This place becomes like a family Whether young or old, Hunter is able to break it down to any age or skill level. Whether you’re a beginner or well-versed, this is the best place to train. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m beyond thankful we found Telos for our children when we did. In just a few months, I’ve seen so much growth in their confidence, skill, and overall outlook in difficult and challenging situations. They’re out on the mats learning so much more than just take downs and hip throws. Hunter is building something really special in this area.

I’ve been going here for about 2 months give or take, and I can definitely recommend it. They offer strength training, kickboxing/striking class, and Jiu Jitsu for both kids and adults. All the instructors are very methodical and patient to teach you and develop your skills. Everyone who trains is also very helpful and explains things to help you better yourself. I definitely recommend it for anyone.
